Awesome Stay!

5 of 5
For our first trip to Charleston for my birthday, my boyfriend and I thought staying on a boat would be a fun alternative to staying in a hotel or renting a house. We were right! The description is accurate, and the boat was very clean and well-maintained. Joel met us there, welcomed us, showed us around the boat, and made us feel very comfortable. He was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and an all-around great host. He went above and beyond to make our stay a great one! Downtown is very short drive, we went several times to eat at restaurants and just explore Charleston. We did a sunset cruise with champagne on the yacht, which was just beautiful. We also did a morning fishing trip. It was my best birthday yet! We hope to come back soon, and I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Charleston!

Great Condo for a Family!

5 of 5
We had a great time at your condo! No one wanted to come home. I loved the view of the ocean from the balcony.. each morning having coffee out there was really something special. The kids loved being able to use the pool later in the day after they were worn out from riding the waves at the beach. We also like the proximity to everything (Barefoot Landing, Bi-Lo, Walmart, restaurants, etc.). One overcast day, we drove up to visit the aquarium near Wilmington, NC - it was great! We ate in nearby Kure Beach at a place called Big Daddy's which a volunteer worker at the aquarium recommended -- very good food! The condo is positioned nicely on the beach on the 5th floor (out of 10 floors in the bldg.). The view is beautiful from both the master bdrm. and the living room as they share a common balcony which has to be at least 20 - 25 feet in length (the balcony has plenty of outdoor chairs and some small tables). The kitchen is wide open with all appliances in good working order including a front loading washer/dryer that came in handy with our 5 kids. Everything was clean. Parking is easy, but tight like all places around the beach; we actually found it easier to park right across the street in the spillover parking lot as it was very quick to get in and out. The building has some shopping carts and portable luggage carriers which really helped when transporting the luggage and groceries from the car to the condo unit. What else can I say? There are no negatives to this place. We have younger children, so, the only thing I would tell someone to mindful of is that this beautiful beach attracted fisherman during our stay (anywhere from 3 to 6 fisherman, daily) who fished from the beach, so, we were a little worried at first -- but they tend to leave the beach by 10 a.m. - so, we had no problems. Paul, the owner, is very easy to work with and responded very quickly with any questions that we had. Whenever we return to North Myrtle Beach, we will certainly try to get this condo again! (Thanks again Paul) The Beacham's from Michigan

Such a cute little house! Perfect for our week!

5 of 5
We loved the property. My mom said numerous times, "I could totally live here..." (I don't think my Dad paid attention to her hint. ;)) We loved that it was pet friendly, the furniture was comfortable, the beds were great, and the porches were put to good use! Our only two suggestions would be 1) to stock the house with a vacuum cleaner. Because I am local, I was able to take the dog home and grab my vacuum before we checked out so we could get all of the dog hair (and toddler crumbs!). And 2) unlock the channels on the TV. We were limited to certain channels because of the parental locks placed on some of them. Oh! And we had no problems with the fridge keeping beer cold or the freezer keeping the ice cream frozen. ;)
