Great property

5 of 5
We rented this house because of its proximity to the Thomas Bennett House which was the venue for our son's wedding and also because of the beautiful garden. We were not disappointed in anything. The house was convenient, beautifully furnished and quiet. Having off street parking was a huge plus and being around the corner from the Bennett House was an even bigger plus. We enjoyed being able to have my sister in law and her husband over to enjoy the garden. It was great to have a spot to relax and unwind after the wedding. Robin was wonderful and was kind to mail my husband the charging cord for his phone which he left behind. The house is very comfortable, extremely clean and very convenient to the Medical University, the historic district, or Charleston College and if you are attending a function at the Bennett House nothing could be more perfect. I would stay at Robin's home any time I needed a place to stay in Charleston and would certainly recommend it to family or friends as long as we were not in competition for places to stay in Charleston; if they were also looking for a home to rent I would not say a word until I had made arrangements with Robin because this would be MY first choice and would not want anyone to get it ahead of me. Robin also allowed us to check in a little early and to check out a little later so she truly goes beyond the usual to make her guest feel at home. Thank you Robin, it was nice to meet you, and you are a fabulous host and your home was comfortable and perfect for our needs.

Well-Appointed Accomodations in Charming Town!

5 of 5
My family of four, including two small children, stayed for a week in this lovely home in the town of Beaufort. The home is thoughtfully and newly decorated and owned by gracious and accommodating hosts- a real vacation/ get away treat. It is also in walking distance of this charming southern town- Beaufort, SC. Saunter six blocks down the street from these accommodations to the wonderfully renovated waterfront where you can peruse the interesting art galleries; hold quiet conversations while gliding in the porch swing overlooking Beaufort river with a glass of wine; tour historic homes; and eat wonderful meals on the outdoor patios of noteworthy restaurants like Saltus. Cross the river to swim at the beautiful beach in Hunting Island Park where crowds are few; Palmettos shroud your beach blanket; and state park status eliminates unsightly commercial and residential coastline growth. Kayak with guides from Beaufort Kayak to gain the best views and learn the history of Beaufort and its stately homes or explore the Salt Marsh to experience Puffer Fish in defense and dolphins in their freedom. Whether you are friends traveling together; a couple alone or a family with kids, there is something for everyone. This area of SC is a little off the beaten path - but that's part of its charm - get away not only from everyday life but from the crowds and beach town tourists. Stay at this Beaufort townhome and be rewarded with comfort, convenience, and southern hospitality. You won't be disappointed!.

Folly Beach Bliss

5 of 5
We wanted to try something completely different for a family vacation after years on Cape Cod or in Maine. Took a chance, wound up at Folly Beach, and were delighted with everything! The condo was immaculate, comfortable and a perfectly located end unit. We were next to the pool and used it often. My brother, a world traveler, thought the beach was one of the best he'd ever been to; we all loved it. The town doesn't seem to have much going on--mostly bars and t-shirt shops. There is a great restaurant on the pier, but we did a lot of cooking ourselves because there's a great fish place up the road with a boat that goes out daily for shrimp. Charleston is an easy drive and, of course offers terrific diversions and dining. The owner was responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this property highly and look forward to staying there again.
