Due to us relocating to Myrtle Beach, we were in need to a long-term (3 month) rental that permitted pets while our home was being built. After reviewing multiple listings, we finally took the recommendation of our professional realtor (Debbie Cherkas) to select a condo in a 5 star gated community called Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach. The condo is situated in a quiet, serene area of the and overlooked a lake. Although the condo was located on the 2nd floor of a 3 floor building, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet and peacful the area was.
As for location - the confo is located 15-20 minutes from the Myrtle Beach airrport and approximately 2-3 miles from route 17 and the infamous restaurant row, mall and many tourist attractions. Additionally, once you cross over 17, you are a short walk to the beach. (The condo included passes to both the pool and the free shuttle to the beach.
The property was nicely decorated with just the right amount of beach accessories and gave the feel of a seaside cottage. There were 3 bedrooms. I master with a king bed and separate master bath, and then 2 more bedooms with single beds. It easily slept 6 with room for 2 more with the pull out sofa bed in the living room. The dining room can accomodate 6+ people. The kitchen is fully furnished with high quality dishes and cooking equipment. There is a breakfast bar, lots of cabinet space and counter work surfaces. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and stove/oven. Other kitchen equipment includes a toaster, coffee maker, utensils, glassware (including plastic glassware and plates for outdoor use around the pool).
Long story short, our transitional home was a wonderful and if we were to describe in 1 word it would be - amazing!
The owner was very professional and attentive - we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for either a short or long term rental.
