Great house, great neighborhood, great manager.

The property was exactly as shown online and as I expected. We rented the house for my daughter's graduation from College of Charleston and needed a place large enough to accommodate 8 people. The house was large enough for everyone to be comfortable and not feel crowded. The house is located in a beautiful little neighborhood that is very quiet and fairly secluded. It's in the Shem Creek area which is great for fresh seafood and just a few minutes drive to downtown. The fenced back yard was a plus as we had 2 little dogs and it was nice to be able to let them "roam" a few minutes without having to worry about them wandering off. Jasmine and Privet were in full bloom and it was a pleasure to walk around the block with the fragrant smell. We did have a couple of issues and the only reason I want to mention them is because of they way they were handled. Upon arrival, the door code would not work. I called Dave (the property manager) and within 15 minutes he had remotely changed the code to a new one and we were able to enter. The second issue was the air conditioning. Upon entering the house we discovered the AC unit would not come on. Once again I called Dave and he immediately called a service tech in the area. (Since it was early May, the temperature was not that bad. The house has an attic fan so we opened a few windows in each area of the house and turned on the attic fan. Man does it pull in the air! That was a good "temp" fix while we waited on the repair tech). The service tech arrived within an hour and had the AC working not long afterwards - clogged drain line. As I said, the only reason I want to mention these two issues is because of the WAY they were handled. Dave was VERY quick to resolve both problems and was VERY professional in his manner. Let's face it, things happen. And it's not always because someone did anything wrong or dropped the ball. Stuff just happens. What separates great companies from average companies is HOW they handle problems. Dave was the perfect example of how to handle things. He was quick to respond to my call in each situation and was just as quick to take action. He did not pass the buck and did not make me feel like it was somehow my fault (as is the case so many times). Because of his professionalism and because the property IS a great choice, I would not hesitate to stay there again. Were it not for the issues I would give it 5 stars.
