Clean, safe and comfortable

5 of 5
The first thing I noticed about the rental was how clean it was. And quiet. And then comfortable. Stylish. I was just so impressed with everything there is not really one thing that stood out above anything else. I always look for peacefulness and this gave it. Quick walk to the beach (even though it was chilly) Grocery store was about 2 miles away and had everything you would need. It was a great stay, but too short. Next time we'll be staying longer.

Serendipity!

5 of 5
Words cannot begin to describe how absolutely PERFECT my birthday weekend was! The pictures do NO justice for how fabulous this villa really is! I came down from Atlanta not only for my birthday, but also to check out the Ocean Room at the Sanctuary (Kiawah Island Golf Resort) where I will begin a culinary internship this summer. I spoke with Maxine about my situation, and frankly my fears about the move, and she not only was a great new friend to talk to, but she also connected me with someone who has a house I can live in during my 3 month internship! She in no way had to even listen to my worries, much less go out of her way to help find me a home ..... by the way none of this made her a dime or even had anything to do with a property she owns ... she is truly an angel who just happens to have a killer villa with a several million dollar view! :-) Anyone who has the opportunity to enjoy brunch on the balcony with that view will know they have lived! Breathtaking!

Kiawah Island stay

5 of 5
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay here, even in January, escaping Midwest winter! This property is in a perfect location,a short pretty walk to the beach and the pool(in warm weather). The site is ideal, quiet, facing a nice view of Night Heron park, and very close to a scenic walking path around the pond where where I have walked on previous stays at another villa. Alligators can be seen frequently in warm weather, and it's great for viewing water birds. The site is ideal for families, located near the park, playground, pool and Nature Center. Being close to West Market is very convenient. Furnishings are very attractive, with 3 flat-screen TVs,DVD players, and wi-fi.The beds are very comfortable, with excellent bedding, and bathrooms are well-equipped with towels and hair dryers. The rental process was easy, efficient, and friendly; having lights and music on at our arrival was a nice touch. Our only complaints were with housekeeping. The toaster(which held only 1 slice)had 2 pieces of ancient toast left inside -ugh! Still worse,a skillet was put away coated with burnt-on grease, which I soaked and scoured off. Nasty! The glass cooktop was dirty, with burned-on spill-overs which I scrubbed off as well as possible. There was candy under one twin bed, and the shower soap dish was gooey, so the cleaner wasn't very thorough. It would be helpful to have toilet bowl brushes available also. We plan to rent this excellent property again, but hope that next time the housekeeping will be improved.
