Great family Thanksgiving!

5 of 5
Four households from four states all together...10 people from 12 to 64 and it worked very well. The highlight was the beach walk after Thanksgiving dinner . Underneath the bridge was filled with dolphins and the pools were filled with starfish. The house was well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. My co-worker rents in another area and has a list of things to make sure to bring-none of those things were needed. Things to know: the living room and sunroom are not huge. We like cozy spaces and the ability to find a quiet corner to read or write. If you want a big room for all to gather, this may not be the place for you. But no problem fitting everyone around the dining table for a meal or to play one of the many available board games. Also, the kitchen is older. The oven is tiny (will hold a 20 lb turkey) and the stove takes forever to heat up. There is a nice big grill outside that we never had a chance to use it.(cold and rainy)

Lovely, perfect views, great family vacation!

5 of 5
My family and I stayed here for almost week, there was more than enough room to accommodate thirteen adults and four young children. Plenty of space and almost any need imaginable was met. We especially enjoyed the huge outdoor deck where we spent many nights together eating and laughing while watching the beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend for any family and would return in a heartbeat for another wonderful stay.

Third time visitor

5 of 5
This was our third visit to this beautiful house! Great for multiple families! We love the shady, quiet location just one block from the beach and within walking/biking distance of the local park and grocery store. The house is just as beautiful in person as the photos on the website. We have 4 families that stay together and the house is roomy and comfortable with LOTS of sleeping space. Two couples take the two upstairs bedrooms (these bedrooms have extra beds in them which could be helpful for families with young children), our girls occupy the upstairs "bunk bed room" which is small but private and very sweet! The teenage boys sleep in the bunkbeds in the upstairs tv room. There is not as much privacy in this room, but our boys LOVE it because the beds are super comfortable and the room has a large sectional sofa and a Very large screen tv! Another couple sleeps in the master bedroom downstairs, and my mom sleeps in the quaint bedroom (with the two twin beds) near the kitchen. This bedroom could also be convenient for a nanny or babysitter. Having the laundry chute from the upstairs bathroom to the master bathroom laundry room is convenient. Since access to laundry is through the master bedroom, we make sure whoever sleeps in the master suite is not a big "napper" so that others in the house have access to the laundry room throughout the day. Having two family rooms/dens is very convenient, as the teenagers can hook up their gaming system to the upstairs television while others may watch a movie or sports on the downstairs television. But even with two televisions going, there are still places in the house to sit and read and relax and two big tables for playing cards or board games. I particularly enjoy reading on the loveseat (off of the kitchen dining area) and in the rocking chairs on the back screen porch. We had gracious room for eating all together at the large dining table but also enjoy the spacious eating area in the kitchen as well. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, flatware, and cookware and has just about anything you need for meal prep. The house internet works great. We brought a laptop with us and left it at the kitchen desk (in the common area) for all in the house to use during the week. There are plenty of places to ride bikes and run within the neighborhood and around the island. There are also tennis courts and basketball courts at the public park just a couple of blocks away, which we enjoy. Super place ~we will be back!
