The condo was pretty much as we would've expected for the price we paid. To our amazement, our kids discovered VHS movies and actually thought they were very cool. Great selection of children's VHS movies were available.
We did have some issues...
-The master bed is the smallest King I've ever slept in-actually, I was unable to sleep in it. My wrist was sprang, and the bed would've needed a chair just to climb up into it!! I couldn't put pressure on my hand to lift myself up, so I slept on the couch. Although, I was told by everyone else in my party that the beds were very comfortable.
-The condo was out of Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Soap, & Trash Bags. After searching thoroughly, we contacted the owner. She did offer for the cleaning staff to bring some by, but we were in and out and was afraid they would come inside while we were gone (personal belongings not secured!). We opted to supply our own needs.
-The beautiful picture of the backyard w/ Driving Range is now under full construction. Beginning at the crack of dawn-it is extremely loud & non stop. The remodeling made it impossible for anyone to sleep.
-The lovely looking porch was useless to us. It smelt so strongly of mildew, we closed the door and left it shut.
-Community pool was shutdown halfway through our vacation due to a crack in the pool's foundation. No other pools were available for us to use since we were not 'OWNERS'. This was the biggest issue; no pool=no fun. We headed home a day early just because it seemed we might (and did!) have a better time just staying put.
We get that the backyard (literally!) construction & cracked pool foundation is completely out of the Owners' hands, but these certainly made our vacation less enjoyable and eventually worth cutting short.
I contacted the owners the day we decided to leave early to let them know what had taken place. Before our arrival the owner was always very prompt with responding. I have yet to hear from her. She had asked I write a review and well, this it is.
