Great Experience!

5 of 5
We booked the Oyster Catcher for a family reunion and our group included 6 adults and 3 young boys. We found the property to be in very good condition and thoughtfully appointed with all the necessary items for a great beach vacation! All the advertised amenities were provided and the owner was more than accommodating, responsive, and courteous in every respect; even when unexpected assistance was needed. The interior living space was roomy and the furnishings and decor were tasteful. The linens were of good quality and the beds quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed the home's screened porch, lovely front deck, and dock! Fripp Island is a beautiful location and offers so much, we hated to leave; though even after our vacation, the owners continued their wonderful customer service when a treasured item had been left behind. Thank you for a lovely stay! We look forward to return visits!

Beautiful, spacious home with gorgeous view

5 of 5
My family and in-laws stayed in this house for a week and absolutely loved it! The layout of the house was perfect, with plenty of space for two separate families. The kitchen was a nice size and included everything we needed for the meals we cooked. The two golf carts came in very handy as well. I think my favorite aspect of the house, though, was the view out back. There was a large deck overlooking a spacious backyard. The backyard opens to a golf-course, which is good because you're not looking at other houses, but even better is that there are so many beautiful trees and plants in the backyard, you barely even notice the golf course. What makes this house unique, I think, is the view of alligators! There's a creek between the yard and golf course, in which at least two alligators live. While other people drove around the island trying to spy on gators in the ponds, we had continuous views from our own house. We only saw them in our yard twice, and that was right on the edge of the creek, so we felt like we got the joy of a great observation point without a risk of bites! I'm sure there are lots of great houses on the island, but we are planning on staying at this house again because it met all our desires (spacious, beautiful, clean, organized owners, etc.) plus it has that uniquely fabulous feature of the gorgeous yard and alligator viewing! I recommend it without hesitation!
