This location is at once secluded and in the heart of the city. Located on a narrow cobble stone street, there is little traffic passing by the house. Sitting on the balcony you feel perfectly tucked away in your own private nook of Charleston. However, a brief walk (<1 min) to end of the block will take you to either the the beautiful Waterfront Park or East Bay St., where you can find some of the city's best restaurants.
The house has been very recently remodeled and looks fabulous with beautiful exposed brick walls and hard wood floors. Door is locked by a number pad rather than with a key witch made coming and going very easy for all members of our party. The furnishings and appliances are top notch including washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc.
Everything you need is within walking distance and beaches are a short cab ride away. During our trip we had access to a car but never used it. If you do decide to drive in or rent a care, there is street parking available and several parking structures within a few block radius.
Management was very helpful and attentive without be overbearing or intrusive. The property was well cleaned and perfectly maintained. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking to come to Charleston and enjoy the city's beautiful architecture and abundance of high quality restaurants and pubs.
