First, the photographs do not do justice to the property. It is beautifully decorated. It is spacious and calming. It is obvious, no expense was spared in converting the former warehouse to a luxurious townhouse apartment. The beds were comfortable and everyone in our party commented on the bedding, which all of us were going to try and duplicate in our own homes. The owner had provided many amenities, e.g. umbrellas, a small portable steamer for clothes, a well appointed kitchen, etc. The large table on the main floor was highly conducive for conversation and laughter. It is so well laid out, each person could have their own personal space. This is a marvelous property.
Secondly, the location was perfect. Many of the sites, museums and award winning restaurants we wanted to see and experience were in easy walking distance. There is a great coffee shop/bakery less than 50 feet from our front door. Each morning, someone would slip out and within minutes would bring back coffee and breakfast. There is a parking structure in the next block, that charged $16.00 a day and we could go in and out with our vehicle as much as we wanted to. There was also street parking in front. The waterfront was so close. The runners in the group would go out each morning and have an incredible picturesque run. Often we would just sit in the park, reading and admire the view. There is also quite a lively night scene with live music just blocks away. Everyone in our party was always mentioning how perfect the location was.
Next, the property manager was incredibly helpful. I had multiple conversations via email, phone and text with her. I was continually asking questions before and during our visit. Her response time was impressively quick. No question was too silly for her. She is highly knowledgeable, very gracious and always patient. This was my first time using VRBO and I was nervous. The property manager made this experience very easy and enjoyable.
Everyone in the party thought this property "made" the trip. It was so comfortable, beautiful and with a perfect location. We would all like to come back. S.M.C., West Linn, Oregon
