Best place with children!

4 of 5
Dawn is a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. The condo was exactly as described and pictured, although I do not think the pictures to the condo does it any justice. The condo was very nice and clean although it is a very small condo (sq ft noted). I wish it had more electrical plugs in the kitchen, there was only 1 where the cord was next to the sink and if the coffee pot was plugged up then the nothing else could be used like the toaster so I ended up making toast in the bathroom. This did not hinder my stay at all and I know Caravelle Resort is responsible for the number of outlets or even the location of outlets but wanted to mention this in my review as the next person who stays may want to bring an extention cord or two. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook with and serve on. I was extremely pleased with the kitchen stock and the full service oven because we'd much rather eat in than order out. I also believe the condo should have more bath towels and washclothes but that was also mentioned in the description and I just should have packed more. The bathroom also needs a soap holder and tooth brush holder. We just used a coffee cup for the tooth brushes and the soap got grimey on the sink but it worked. The full sized beds were comfy as well as the couch. It came well equipped with bedding and pillows. Notes about Caravelle - * Make sure to use the arm bands at ALL TIMES because security is checking and will escort you into the building to get it. This to me is a definite perk to Caravelle because the guests feel more safer (at least we did) and also on the weekend there was a security guard that stayed the entire time out at the pools watching. * The elevators at the parking garage are super slow (at least 5 mins or more) so be prepared to wait. FYI- there are more elevators around the corner that are a lot faster which we found out about these on the night before we left. *Caravelle has lots of kids activities several times a day. I will definitely rent this condo again from Dawn for next year and my husband and I are already planning our next vacation. Oh, our kids also got a little suprise, in the condo (kitchen closet) was beach toys- sand toys, 2 boogie boards, and an umbrella which we had already packed but it was a nice suprise and the kids had a few extra toys to play with while we were there. Lastly, I wish there was an earlier check in then 4pm and a later check out time than 10am.

Condo was just what we needed!

My wife and I could not be more satisfied with this place. Our view of the ocean every morning while we had our coffee was great. Also the resort had a great pool option if the beach was too much. It is a great location far enough away from the center of town but close enough for a cab or bus to see all the sites. We will be heading back here again!
