Difficult to leave...

5 of 5
Very clean, comfortable condo unit that was just as pictured. Spent every morning on the screened porch, watching the birds and sunrise, while we ate our breakfast. Beach was nearby and so peaceful and uncrowded...picked up shells, watched birds, marine life, and sunrises. Convenient to pools, beach and gym (at clubhouse). Ate twice at Johnson Creek Tavern, (nearby, with great food), spent an afternoon on the beach at Hunting Island, went to the top of the Hunting Island Light House...all in the wonderful island sun! We are already thinking about next year!! Mike & Debbie were very nice and informative with all we needed to know before arrival.

Great Location

4 of 5
My husband and I, along with our cat, rented this house for two months while we were house hunting. Close to everything. Owner was very easy to work with. Perfect for 2 - 4 people.

Well-Appointed Accomodations in Charming Town!

5 of 5
My family of four, including two small children, stayed for a week in this lovely home in the town of Beaufort. The home is thoughtfully and newly decorated and owned by gracious and accommodating hosts- a real vacation/ get away treat. It is also in walking distance of this charming southern town- Beaufort, SC. Saunter six blocks down the street from these accommodations to the wonderfully renovated waterfront where you can peruse the interesting art galleries; hold quiet conversations while gliding in the porch swing overlooking Beaufort river with a glass of wine; tour historic homes; and eat wonderful meals on the outdoor patios of noteworthy restaurants like Saltus. Cross the river to swim at the beautiful beach in Hunting Island Park where crowds are few; Palmettos shroud your beach blanket; and state park status eliminates unsightly commercial and residential coastline growth. Kayak with guides from Beaufort Kayak to gain the best views and learn the history of Beaufort and its stately homes or explore the Salt Marsh to experience Puffer Fish in defense and dolphins in their freedom. Whether you are friends traveling together; a couple alone or a family with kids, there is something for everyone. This area of SC is a little off the beaten path - but that's part of its charm - get away not only from everyday life but from the crowds and beach town tourists. Stay at this Beaufort townhome and be rewarded with comfort, convenience, and southern hospitality. You won't be disappointed!.
