An Incredible African Adventure

5 of 5
Our vacation was truly a fantasy thanks to the wonderful Leadwood private lodge. Words cannot describe the true beauty and nature of the lodge and its surroundings. Its location adjacent to Kruger National Park made it that much more delightful. The accommodations lacked for nothing, everything was spot on from the indoor barbeque to the outdoor showers. The animal sightings were incredible, rhino, birds everywhere, monkeys and we even saw warthogs in the backyard near the river. It was wonderful to take a dip in the pool after a long day of game drives and watch the sunset. Sue was great and arranged all of our outings and with knowledge of the area told us of where to go and what to see. We would highly recommend this lodge and we will surely be returning in the future. Christina T. South Fl. USA

Wonderful!

5 of 5
A luxurious and very well-equipped house which provided everything and more that we needed. Our group comprised of four adults and five children and there was plenty of space for us all. An extremely well designed house with a pretty garden and lovely heated pool. The location is fabulous being a short walk down to the beautiful sandy beach which we always had to ourselves with not another soul to be seen. We would love to return and really recommend this property.

Awe-inspiring

5 of 5
My girlfriend and I were afforded the opportunity to stay at Enigma Mansion in December 2012. Having lived in Cape Town for more than ten years, before relocating overseas, we thought that we knew of all the hidden gems that the mother city had to offer. Our stay at Enigma Mansion proved us very wrong. A stay at Enigma Mansion can best be described as being immersed in pure luxury. Well-travelled individuals would expect the attention to detail that surrounds you at Enigma from five-star hotels around the world. On the day of arrival we received a pre-arrival phone call from Enigma’s General Manager Louis Brink to enquire about our arrival time. Upon arrival at the mansion, his entire team was waiting on the front drive, ready to welcome us. Luggage was swiftly brought up to our room, the car was parked and Louis proceeded to give us an orientation of this stunning property which stretches over more than 7000 square meters and is situated in the heart of affluent Camps Bay. Tech savvy guests will feel right at home. There is an iPad located in each room to control different aspects of the mansion; music, movies, lights and blinds to name a few. The pool is amazing and we spent the majority of time alongside/in it, listening to music being played from the impressive outdoor sound system (controlled by an iPad of course). In the evening plates of fresh fruit, vegetables and cold cuts were prepared for us, which we enjoyed on the terrace along with chilled champagne, watching the sun go down. The following morning Louis and his staff were waiting for us with a sumptuous breakfast which was served on the terrace underneath beautifully designed sun umbrellas. After an amazing breakfast, Louis gave us a tour of the grounds, showing us The Enigma Mansion Studio and Guest House and Staff Quarters. Living on property ensures that Louis is able to attend to the guests’ need at a moment’s notice. There is a Massage and Meditation Temple. We simply used the Meditation Temple as yet another location to unwind, enjoy the views and trying to take in everything this property had offer. It of course did not take long for us to be served water and snacks without having asked for it. It will take many days to fully appreciate the detail that went into the creation of Enigma. The ancient Indian double doors that lead into the anteroom or specially commissioned artwork that can be found across the property. A big thank you to Louis and his team!
