Beautiful Waterfront Home

5 of 5
This is a beautiful waterfront home. The sunrises were amazing to watch over the cove while sitting in the sunroom or out on the patio. My family and I enjoyed barbequing on the patio and playing games in the backyard. The house is very spacious and open, so it's idea for gatherings. Bruce was a pleasure to deal with and was quick to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful town and property

5 of 5
Wickford village is very picturesque and beautiful. The beach and playground a short walk away from the house were fantastic for my 3 years old daugther. The 2 bedroom apartment is tastefully decorated, and the master bedroom in particular has beautiful views of the pond. The garden is nicely kept and offers BBQ and nice furniture for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The owner Jan is very nice and accommodating, she gave us lots of directions and ideas and even procured milk for my daughter. You'll find all utensils you need for cooking in the apartment, which also has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Newport and Providence are really close too. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Exceptional home!

5 of 5
This is a beautiful home. And it is a home, not a rental property, and it makes a world of difference. You feel as if you're visiting your own family or dear friends, it's comfortable and welcoming. The decor of the house is wonderful, it's a classic old farmhouse with rustic wooden doors but with all the conveniences of a modern home. Wireless internet, cable, wonderfully outfitted kitchen, plenty of nooks to sit and read in or have a nap, VERY comfortable beds, bright, airy....this home is perfect for large families or a group of friends. The house is set up so there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, then 2 of the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house on the second floor, and each has a bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms are in between, and totally convenient to the bathrooms, so it's a wonderful set up. The surrounding property is glorious, open fields, beautiful trees, stone walls....there's a field behind the property that my daughter loved to ride her bike around. The outdoor shower was heavenly, we are already planning our own at home we loved it so much! It's also perfect for returning home from the beach. The house is also very close to so many places, and easy car rides to Wickford center, grocery stores, beaches, etc. You can go on some wonderful walks as well, and we definitely recommend walking down to the Gilbert Stuart museum, the grounds are lovely, and for those interested in colonial era farms/homes/furniture, it's a lot of fun to take the tour. This is a property for people who want to feel as if they are at home, and will treat it that way. The owners are lovely, and we are extremely grateful to them for opening up their home to us. We found we didn't want to leave the house much, and spent a lot of time there relaxing, catching up with our extended family, and eating! We will come back another time, and already miss "our" home away from home. Thank you Jane and family, you were so welcoming and gracious. Thank you so much!
