A beautifully appointed home and lovely grounds

5 of 5
We stayed here with our three children and nanny for a week. The house is beautifully renovated, with very tasteful design and a lovely garden and pool. The kitchen was beautiful, very well stocked and the rooms were large, well aired and thoughtfully appointed. The garden was very nice and the pool sufficiently large. There are three large bedrooms on the second floor and three bedrooms in the attic. These have low ceilings and are probably better suited for children. The owner was extremely graceful and easy to deal with - she left us a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to welcome us. She answered all questions and was always available. The house is across from the police station and even though the street is rather busy we could not hear any noise. We would definitely come back again.

Lovely home in tranquil setting

4 of 5
My mother, sisters, and I stayed at this lovely property for four nights. The home was a great base for visiting South County sites, beaches etc. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and very well equipped. There was more than enough space for the five us of, with each of us having our own bedroom. We spent most of our time in the lovely kitchen, living room, and outdoor terrace which overlooked a nicely landscaped and private backyard. The owner was very flexible and easy to work with. She has gone out of her way to make this home a comfortable rental property, even while maintaining it as her own personal residence. She provided many restaurant recommendations and materials about available activities in the area. The property is accessible via a very long and private road. It feels like you are truly "away from it all" when you stay there. For our purposes, this home worked very well, although for beach goers, it might feel like it's a little far from the action. We recommend this property for renters who are looking for some privacy and for comfortable, upscale, and spacious surroundings.

Perfect place to be if you love the sea.

5 of 5
Very cozy, clean and comfortable place. Our family of 4 have different interests but each of us had lots to do in this tiniest state. I fell in love with the beaches, my daughters had a blast biking and roller blading every day and my husband mavelled all the restaurants not far from the place. If you love walking, it takes only about 70 min to get to Naraganset beach on foot, and the path goes through some beautiful ponds and very scenic areas. There is a small sun deck with a BBQ, so we often had dinner at home. I think we will be coming back again some time to explore the historical part of Newport, and we definitely will stay at the same place!
