The house was very clean and comfortable. The pictures don't even do the house or the views justice. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We loved the extensive DVD library, huge televisions, WIFI, comfortable beds, roomy living rooms and kitchen, private secluded patio and of course the incredible views from so many windows. The kitchen was really nice with everything we needed, and several things we weren't expecting to be provided. We would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the area. Grinnell's beach is not typical of ocean beaches. It's calm and clear since it's surrounded by the cove and also somewhat rocky. Great for snorkeling if you have kids that would like to find hermit crabs like I do. We also visited South Shore Beach in Little Compton for a more traditional beach experience. We visited the Newport Mansions, Providence Children's Museum, Roger Williams Zoo, the capitol, Battleship Cove and the Marine Museum in Fall River, Fort Barton Hiking area (saw a few snakes!), Tiverton Town Recreation Area (unusual playground with a track for those that want to stay active). We enjoyed a seafood platter at Evelyn's Drive In and had a nice dinner at Four Corners Grille. The house is a ten and the only sad thing is that we aren't still there!
