Excellent home away from home!

The rental was in a great location just a block from the beach and close to some nice restaurants. Everything was in perfect working order and the beds and sheets were nice and clean. The owners even left a pack n play in a closet for us to use while we were visiting. They were very responsive to every email question we had before arriving and we really appreciated their hospitality. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and hesitate to write such a good review, because we know it will always be booked once everyone finds out about it!

Beautiful townhome: comfortable, spacious, well built

We arrived to find an issue with our reservation, but the hotel took responsibility and fixed it very fairly (these units belong to the Spring House Hotel). With that minor exception, it was all much better than I could have ever expected. We had a family with a loud barking dog and noisy small children next door and never once heard them when we were inside. The unit was amazingly spacious, the furniture and finishes were very nice, and everything that we could have asked for was there. These units are probably about one mile (maybe less) from the "main drag" past old harbor. Very convenient, very easy to get back and forth from, very enjoyable, highly recommended. A car is a plus, but we only had bikes and still did fine here. One word of caution to anyone not familiar: Block Island has pretty bad internet service - this unit (and every hotel and house in town) can only work with what Verizon gets to the island, which is terrible. It will come and go, and will speed up and (mostly) slow down without warning or provocation. Be forewarned!
