LOOK NO FURTHER -THIS CONDO IS EVERYTHING YOU WANT

5 of 5
This condo may seem too good to be true, but then again it's in Newport, where things that seem too good to be true just happen that way. The condo is located in the perfect section of town (within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the water, the Cliff Walk). Even though there's plenty to do in Newport, this space is so inviting, so well-designed and so comfortable that you might just find yourself wanting to stay home more than you planned. The place is full of details that add to the overall experience, including the continuous built-in sound system, the stylish and fun shower, the ample drawers space, the washer/dryer, the 2 wall TVs... and most of all -- the perfect layout of the space itself. Communication with the owner was easy and reliable, and the place was immaculate. I highly recommend this condo for anyone willing to walk to the third floor. But when you're that excited to get back into your perfect temporary home... trust me, it's well worth the trip.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

4 of 5
Lovely property, really beautiful, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen that you can cook in. I do recommend this property for a stay in Rhode Island as it allows you to really live there and have some dinners at home as well as being good walking distance from many restaurants and amenities. One watch out is that the sound proofing is minimal and so if you are planning a quiet weekend away, make sure there is not a bachelorette party booked into the unit above you, or else book the 3 bedroom upstairs unit which is also really nicely furnished and laid out.

AL----THE "BEACH SECURITY" GUY WAS A MENACE

4 of 5
The unit is terrrific, nicely appointed, clean and has a great location. The only negative is Al. He is the Beach Security guy that wanted to make our week miserable! He said one thing 1 day, changed his mind the next and then reversed himself again the following day. He smoked cigarettes all day long in his corner on the beach but he decided we could not. The first day we were there he said that the fire pit could be used for a beach bonfires, the next it couldn't be used on the beach but in the courtyard area and then the next day it could not be used at all!!!!!!! He stated that only 2 chairs and 1 lounge chair could be used per unit---- and he would come by and count the chairs being used -- although there were tons available and we had brought our own chairs!!!! Day 4 he decided we had to wear wristbands, while no one else in the private beach area had to and he recognized us from the prior days. It was one thing after another with him. We spoke to a lot of the neighbors to see if they had a problem with us and they said no. In fact most of them ended up socializing with us. We called the real estate agent and the property manager to intervene and they stated that he likes to give the renters a hard time. Not good---he should relieved of his duties. We loved the units and the proximity to the beach but would not go back if Al is still there.
