Amazing spot

5 of 5
This property is incredible. Upon entrance you feel millions of miles away as your stress instantly fades. We spent our days walking the island with our dog, our evenings kayaking and our nights by the fire pit. Make sure to bring whatever you need for food, drink, and coffee. Also bug spray is essential. Ticks on the island are awful so bring long pants. Luckily we did not have an issue with ticks in the yard. Finally, the owners are amazing, easy to work with and readily available.

Peaceful Long Weekend on Prudence Island

5 of 5
This property is fantastic for those looking to get away. Prudence Island is a great place to walk and explore, and Tom and Mary's cottage was a great base for us. We enjoyed walking up, down, and across the island, then relaxing on the porch watching the water. The cottage looked exactly like the pictures, and you can tell that they put a lot of work into the place recently. It was a very comfortable place for us to enjoy a long weekend. Tom, Mary, and Katey were also very helpful throughout the whole process and responded quickly to my many questions. The ferry and general store are very close (3 min walk), but it's better to bring most of your own provisions as the store selection is limited and there are no restaurants on the island. I would also recommend bringing a car or bikes if you're staying for more than a long weekend so you can explore the outer reaches of the island more easily. The only downside of the trip was missing the last ferry of the day... we had to pay the water taxi ($30pp without a reservation) to take us across to Prudence.
