The location of this cottage is remarkable. It is private, quiet, and comfortable. I love to cook and this kitchen not only has a nice selection of pots and pans, but also bowls for serving and storage. In my experience with vrbo serving bowls are not common. The location is also great for travel to surrounding historic communities. Everything is close. We traveled with our two yorkies and they loved playing in the yard and walks on the quiet street. My husband and I are comfortable recommending this cottage to couples or small families. It was delightful and the owners were wonderful to work witu.

The ultimate waterfront cottage

5 of 5
When I stay in this cottage, I feel like I've found a little slice of heaven. When I am away from it, I dream of going back. My husband and I first spent a long weekend there, and returned in August for a week-long stay. I love the privacy, the amazing deck directly on the water, the "they've thought of everything" kitchen and the ability to walk to two great local restaurants on nights when we prefer to stay close to "home." Rainbows appear. Gulls greet you. Sailboats dot the horizon. It is the most peaceful place I've ever stayed, and if you love gazing upon the water, you have an unobstructed view 24 hours a day. This spotless cottage is also just a short drive from local farms, clam shacks and the fabulous Newport mansions, yet far enough away to savor the peace and quiet. The nearby towns of Tiverton and Bristol offer lovely scenery and delicious restaurants and shopping. Deborah is an attentive owner who's always available to offer help or advice. There's something special about this cottage, and we hope to return for more visits whenever our schedules allow. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Rhode Island.

Ahhh..The screened in porch with a great view

4 of 5
The property was very nice and clean and the big screened in porch was fabulous, we spent most of time in it. The only drawbacks are: there is only one small bathroom (which we knew going in) and though they technically had cable, there was only one 26 inch TV that essentially only got the local affiliates of CBS, NBC and ABC. We would have liked to be able to watch the Red Sox or a few other stations at night. These are the only things that kept it from 5 stars - but I'd still go back.
