"An Unforgettable Experience in Jamestown"

5 of 5
My wife and I were lucky to find a property this unique, artistic, and overpoweringly beautiful to host our wedding. As designers, we had difficulty finding a location that would provide differentiation and a truly memorable experience for our guests. We were so lucky to have found Dragonline, our stay was all we could have hoped for with unexpected touches...a true pleasure. The property is private and surrounded almost entirely by water. Walking up to the top floor offers striking offering sunset views over the bay and the Newport bridge which is illuminated at night. We watched modern and classic vessels sail the bay as we celebrated on the well lawn overlooking the water. The interior matches the landscape with material touches that show a thoughtful and planned build and tall windows that don't mask the exterior view. Duncan is a pleasure to work with and helped meet with our wedding service representatives as we are out of state. We are certainly revisiting Dragonline and Duncan since its an unforgettable part of our lives that we'll want to relive.

Stone cottage near the sea

5 of 5
Accommodations for the discriminating traveler! We loved the 2 mile scenic drive from the heart of Newport to this architecturally historic & beautiful home. An impressive park like entrance between stacked stone columns heralds your arrival. A long wide drive dotted with old growth hardwood and willow trees was simply gorgeous in the approach to this home. The house is nestled behind neatly trimmed hedges, mature hydrangea bushes, and a host of other professionally landscaped trees and stone walls. Inside we loved the hardwood floors, tasteful furnishings, antiquities and interesting art throughout. The home offered a true cooks kitchen but husbands offered restaurants which we took instead-ha! Comfortable beds, well appointed baths, and all the comforts of home, what more could we have asked for? We enjoyed all the details of this delightful stone cottage near the sea. At the end of our stay, we felt we had just left the home of a good friend. Highly recommend!!!
