WONDERFUL

5 of 5
The cottage is exactly as described, quaint, clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the patio and the easy walk to the beach. The owner is friendly and helpful. She responds to questions threw email quickly. If your looking for a slow pace, cozy and friendly area this is the cottage to rent!

GREAT FOR FAMILIES

5 of 5
For the fourth year, we rented this large air conditioned property for our family of 8 adults and four grand children, ages 11 to 1. We love the layout which provides quiet, private bedrooms for everyone as well as a family room with lots of comfortable seating. The master suite is great with its own bathroom and walk in closet. The kitchen remodel was very nice with the new appliances, new quality countertops and breakfast bar. Beautiful Scarborough Beach is a 3/4 mile walk from the house. Sand toys and beach towels are provided. Board games and a Ping pong table are available. The back yard and deck are nice for all to enjoy. An outside shower is nice to have. The owner is pleasant and assistance with house concerns should there be any is prompt. We love to vacation in RI and this house feels like home.

POINT JUDITH CHARMER

5 of 5
My 14 year old niece and I had a wonderful stay in this community. Breakwater Village is centrally located to many Rhode Island attractions, yet quiet and private. The cottage itself is very clean (so important in a rental) and cozy. The decks offer extra space and lovely views. You can see both Block Island and the Newport Bridge from the rooftop deck. The front deck offers peeks of the ocean in front of the private community beach. The water is clear with gentle waves, perfect for little ones or adults who just want too relax and drift. Also easy for kayaking and paddle boarding. If you crave bolder Atlantic surf, East Matunuck State Beach is 18 minutes door-to-shore. We rode our bikes to the Block Island ferry dock for a great day trip; Newport mansions were an easy drive as well. Evening walks to Iggy's and Aunt Carrie's were a tasty way to end the day. Kerri was great to work with and had a binder of info waiting on our arrival. Overall, a fantastic start to summer!!
