peaceful cozy home on a beautiful lake

5 of 5
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We unfortunately had a lot of cool, wet weather during our stay so we spent more time inside than anticipated, but the cottage is very comfortable, with great views of the lake. The location is peaceful--no traffic noise, and only quiet boats (10hp limit) are allowed on the lake. It was fantastic to have the kayaks right there so we could get out on the water when the weather allowed. I would definitely recommend this rental and hope to return another time. The listing says a car is necessary, and it's true that nothing is within walking distance of the cottage, but we arrived by bicycle from the West Kingston Amtrak station, an easy 8-mile ride along the rail trail and mostly quiet roads. It's also a 20-minute bike ride to Narragansett Beach or into town to get food.

Beautiful and relaxing

5 of 5
I just want to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed staying at your lake house. It was so relaxing and close to so many places to see. I don't think the kayaks ever got out of the water the whole time we were there. Someone in the family was always getting in to paddle around the lake. There was something for everyone, the kids just loved fishing off the dock keeping Grandpa so busy putting on worms and taking off fish i don't think his pole even made it in the water the first day.We enjoyed day trips to the zoo, beaches, casino and checking out the area. The house is located where everything you could possibly want to do is less that an hour away. I highly recommend this house as a place to stay it feels more like a home than a rental with all the nice touches and nice quality. Our family had an amazing time!!! Thank you so much.
