Great Choice

5 of 5
My family and I stayed here for a week in September. This is a lovely home with lots of upgrades from the normal cottage. There were four adults and one 12 month old. While this house is far from baby proof, if you're careful and bring stair gates, you're all set. Lots of things to do fairly close by or just play on the clean, sunny beach. The manager was very helpful and attentive through the process. I would definitely recommend this for a lovely vacation.

Best vacation in quite a long time

This is a beautiful property, and well worth the money to stay here. It is well appointed, beautiful view of the surf, sea and "the Block", long boarders and wind surfers. There were ten of us (8 adults and 2 little ones). We brought our own pack and play for one of the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans, etc to plan for meals. Gas range was wonderful - stove took a bit to figure out, but once we did all was good. A couple of things we might recommend. More blankets and sheets - we could not utilize the pull out sofa, and there was not enough bedding, and it was chilly at night. The path to the beach can be very tricky, especially if you have an older crowd, and unfortunately, there was a lovely family of skunks that had moved into the bushes, and we were unable to go down the path to the beach at night for a fire. We would recommend water shoes, as this part of the beach is very rocky. Overall this house is very well maintained, and is definitely a five. Karen is great to deal with. Visit with Tara at the Irish pub - she is a great lady - and the folks at the general store are wonderful. I am born and raised in RI, and currently live in Florida, and this is was an outstanding family reunion with 45 of us renting houses in the area. We will be back.

THE PERFECT BEACH HOME GET AWAY AS DESCRIBEDb

5 of 5
After a warm welcome by the owners, we were shown around our home for the week. All our questions were answered and the transfer. was easily accomplished. The home was absolutely spotless, well furnished and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Full kitchen, large living areas and beautiful views from the deck and patio, also with tables and chairs gave us plenty of room to spread out. Sliding doors on both levels and windows allowed the sounds of the ocean to sooth our souls. Water shoes and outdoor shower solved any beach issues and a nearby public beach is available for those who prefer the combed sand. Two TV areas, one on each floor, took care of our one rainy evening. One evening we took the short walk to the Irish Pub down the road which featured live entertainment. Then back to sit on the deck and enjoy the ocean air and sounds of the surf. Pure paradise. We can't wait to go back!
