Fishing trip

5 of 5
Home was outstanding and its in a great location to many beaches, great restaurants and the best fishing in New England. Kathy was outstanding with customer service. when I booked this home that was close to Gallilee where I had book a two day of fishing trip with four of my clients.and very close to two great restaraunts( Oyster House and Trattio Romanio.) It dosen't get better then those two places and within a few miles of this home. We had great sea food one nigth and great italian food the next. Would highly recommend this home for a summer vacation or Long get away weekend. Can"t wait to do it again!

Well equipped and lovely holiday home

5 of 5
Extremely clean and tidy home. Kitchen has all the basic needs and plenty of sitting areas both inside the house as well as outside. The bedrooms are King, Full (not Queen per the VRBO page) and two twins. There's a lovely view across the salt marsh with plenty of bird watching. The owners are professionally and make sure everything is perfect. If our family reunion is booked again in Matunuck, we'll certainly want to try out for this house again.

Best vacation in quite a long time

5 of 5
This is a beautiful property, and well worth the money to stay here. It is well appointed, beautiful view of the surf, sea and "the Block", long boarders and wind surfers. There were ten of us (8 adults and 2 little ones). We brought our own pack and play for one of the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans, etc to plan for meals. Gas range was wonderful - stove took a bit to figure out, but once we did all was good. A couple of things we might recommend. More blankets and sheets - we could not utilize the pull out sofa, and there was not enough bedding, and it was chilly at night. The path to the beach can be very tricky, especially if you have an older crowd, and unfortunately, there was a lovely family of skunks that had moved into the bushes, and we were unable to go down the path to the beach at night for a fire. We would recommend water shoes, as this part of the beach is very rocky. Overall this house is very well maintained, and is definitely a five. Karen is great to deal with. Visit with Tara at the Irish pub - she is a great lady - and the folks at the general store are wonderful. I am born and raised in RI, and currently live in Florida, and this is was an outstanding family reunion with 45 of us renting houses in the area. We will be back.
