                        Great Vacation Spot

                        5 of 5
Everything was perfect. Del and Tommy are very friendly and are flexible in their accommodations. The 'Rose" cottage is very clean, comfortable (there were three of us ), sits about 50 yards from the "pond", and is just a short walk to Charlestown beach. The whole surroundings are quiet and peaceful and all local people are friendly. I would highly recommend it. John and Susan

Super! Even better than we expected!

                        5 of 5
We positively loved our time at the cottage! This was our first year coming, and we plan to keep coming back every year for as long as Liz will have us. The cottage was much larger than we expected & made for a great week away. Our daughter, age 9, & son, age 11, loved having their own space & being able to spread out. We had local family come to visit one afternoon & had plenty of room both inside & out for entertaining the additional 6 adults & 2 kids. Liz really goes above & beyond to provide her guests a wonderful home away from home. Everything was spotless when we arrived. We chose not to pack our own linens this vacation & were supplied with an ample supply of fresh towels as well as very comfy bed linens. Liz even left a Keurig for our week, so we didn't need to lug ours from home. The kitchen was very well stocked, & the refrigerator & freezer (with ice maker) were generously sized. We loved the lake setting. Liz allowed us to take her resin chairs down to the lake to sit on, & we bought some basic rafts at the local Benny's store to float on. We spent more time in the lake than we did on the beach this year! We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to vacation or a better person than Liz to rent from. Top notch from beginning to end!

                        Fabulous time had by all

                        5 of 5
We stayed for four days in mid-May. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much! Although the house is on a busy road, it is quite set back and we didn't notice road noise. The second deck is actually in the backyard, but does provide a nice view. We enjoyed eating on the upper deck every chance we got. Being that we stayed so early in the season and it did get cold one of the nights, it was a bit chilly in the lower level of the house. The heat is on one zone with the thermostat in the main level. I don't imagine that this would be an issue during warmer months. Other than those little things, the house was wonderful! By our last day,we were all saying that we had to do the trip again. We probably would have this year, but family schedules didn't align. The owners were great to work with, everything went very smoothly and I find this rental to be a phenomenal value. Definitely recommend.
