Super! Even better than we expected!

5 of 5
We positively loved our time at the cottage! This was our first year coming, and we plan to keep coming back every year for as long as Liz will have us. The cottage was much larger than we expected & made for a great week away. Our daughter, age 9, & son, age 11, loved having their own space & being able to spread out. We had local family come to visit one afternoon & had plenty of room both inside & out for entertaining the additional 6 adults & 2 kids. Liz really goes above & beyond to provide her guests a wonderful home away from home. Everything was spotless when we arrived. We chose not to pack our own linens this vacation & were supplied with an ample supply of fresh towels as well as very comfy bed linens. Liz even left a Keurig for our week, so we didn't need to lug ours from home. The kitchen was very well stocked, & the refrigerator & freezer (with ice maker) were generously sized. We loved the lake setting. Liz allowed us to take her resin chairs down to the lake to sit on, & we bought some basic rafts at the local Benny's store to float on. We spent more time in the lake than we did on the beach this year! We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to vacation or a better person than Liz to rent from. Top notch from beginning to end!

peace and quiet

5 of 5
my husband and i truly enjoyed our week long stay at this cottage. it has a lovely view of green hill pond from the kitchen, deck, and relaxing screen porch. we kayaked in the salt pond almost every day. charlestown beach is just minutes away and there is a small beach on the salt pond just down the road. there are shops, restaurants, and nature preserves all within a short distance. although the cottage is located in a cute neighborhood our stay was extremely quiet. you can use the bikes to get ice cream, go to the bakery, get fresh produce, or go to the deli just minutes away. we will definitely stay here again.

Nice week

5 of 5
I had a great week at this property. It was great that I could find a house that would let me bring my dog. We had to go in the off-season, otherwise the beaches would be off limits with the dog. The fenced in backyard will keep your dog from getting loose, and there were even food and water bowls available to use. There were maps and books listing things to do, as well as books to read, some DVDs, jig saw puzzles and board games for those rainy days. Newport and Jamestown are about 45 minutes away, Point Judith is about 30 minutes, and Watch Hill is about 30 minutes. I am looking forward to returning next year.
