Spectacular views with all the comforts of home

          5 of 5
The most beautiful location ever in a friendly village where everyone is easy going and dogs abound! The home had very nice decor and had all the amenities that you would have at home....including lovely sheets, duvets, towels and wonderful gift sets of lotions and shampoos provided by the very thoughtful owner. Our guests and we were delighted by all the books and DVDS provided and as many pots and pans as we could possibly need to stay in and cook all week if we so chose. The rental process was smooth and the owners thought of everything .....including a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates....that would make our stay a memorable one. Steps from the beach, a patio out front that we had coffee on every morning and wine on every evening while taking in the spectacular view and chatting with neighbors and was a memorable vacation that we hope to extend longer next summer. The owners were the perfect hosts who truly thought of everything!

charming Narragansett rental -- great location!!!

          5 of 5
Charming cottage at the edge of Narragansett Bay -- lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the waves - enjoyed the stars overhead -- the sunsets -- even a rainy day was pleasant; tremendously easy to get to local restaurants -- enjoy George's of Galilee for chowder and clam fritters; the Sweet Spot for pastries and egg sandwiches; Aunt Carries for fabulous ice cream; Iggy's for convenience if you didn't mind the long lines. Clean and charming and five folks managed here nicely. We went all over RI with this as home base -- took the Block Island ferry; went to RISD and the Roger Williams National Park site in downtown Providence; visited Newport and the famous mansions and the Touro Synagogue National Historic Site; visited friends in CT -- all things within an easy distance of the cottage -- loved it and would definitely return. Also an easy distance from TF Green (RI airport) --

          Simply fantastic!

The description doesn't even do it justice. The house is extremely clean and there wasn't an amenity we didn't find. The views are unbelievable and the neighbors are friendly and approachable. The owner was prompt and communicated well by email. She also called the house to give us the logon for the wireless. If you never left the house for the week, you'd be entertained. There are lots of things going on in the bay and watching the osprey and other wildlife was endlessly fun. There are unlimited seafood restaurants in the area (absolutely necessary for me coming from Illinois!). We found a great art gallery in Charlestown and visited lots of other fun shops. My only complaint is that is was rainy a couple of days (but we went shopping!) We will definitely be back.
