Our stay in Bonnet Shores was unbelievable! This was our first trip to Narragansett, and we fell in love immediately. It is a charming town with plenty to do, yet paced so that you can unwind and relax. Our children were thrilled to be there. As parents, we enjoyed watching them explore the beach and tide pools, as well as swim in the calm waters.
The food in Narragansett was truly incredible. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there are many wonderful restaurants that will leave your taste buds wanting more! And if you like ice cream, make sure you stop at Brickley's for some of the best you've ever tasted.
What made our trip so special, however, was our stay at this wonderful house. It truly became our "home away from home." It was impeccably maintained and clean. There is plenty of space, comfortable beds, and every amenity our family of five could ask for. The screened side porch with large television was a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day. Our children enjoyed the large yard with swing set and basketball hoop. They especially enjoyed using the outdoor, but very private, shower after our trips to the beach.
With air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and televisions galore, a quick ride to "Stop and Shop" was all it took to begin the perfect week. Lauren was wonderfully helpful and was always a phone call away.
The ten minute drive to Newport is a must! The scenery is incredible and there is so much history there. We stumbled upon a water taxi that was cheaply priced, and we had a captain who gave us a personalized tour of Narragansett Bay and all of Newport's history. Our kids even got to pet a shark at the aquarium there.
Our only complaint is that the week ended and we had to leave! We strongly recommend this property. It provided us with a comfortable, safe, and child-friendly "home." Thanks Lauren for a great vacation and memories that will last a lifetime!
