Lovely lakefront cabin for a family

5 of 5
Our family of 5 spent a week at this wonderful chalet. It was very quiet and private. We really enjoyed the beach and the private dock where we watched the sunset. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and cooler weather but still managed to get out in the kayaks and paddleboat to tour the lake. The chalet was very comfortable, cozy beds and lots of space to relax. We also really appreciated the well-stocked board games shelves and enjoyed countless hours of games during the heavy rains. We loved the area and hope to return someday, perhaps in the winter for a ski vacation?!?

Home away from Home

5 of 5
A house is just a house., until you add those personal touches that make it comfy and inviting.,and making it a.... 'home' ... this is what Brian and Liane did. We loved everything about the cottage, all was at our fingertips! The property was charming., as well as the decor inside... and cannot forget to mention, clean !!!!! Will miss having my morning coffee sitting and watching the ducks on the lake, listening to the birds and feeding the chipmunks. We thank you for all you have done and continue to do, Brian and Liane. Keep up the good work! --highly impressed !!!--

Wonderful family vacation!

4 of 5
We just returned from five days at this beautiful home. The house itself is wonderful, well built and well laid out. The hot tub and sauna are wonderfully relaxing. Kitchen is a little small, but we tend to spend alot of time cooking and eating, so that may not be a problem for many families. We didn't use the facilities of the resort, but we did drive to the clubhouse and the indoor pool looked very nice. Tennis courts were nearby also. The only complaint we have is the amount of hot water. We had a family of 9 staying at the property. The first shower each morning would drain the hot water tank, leaving every other shower with lukewarm water. The tank would reheat after about 45 minutes, but for a vacation house set up for a large family, that causes a problem each morning. Additionally, even after waiting several hours past the last hot water use, there was not enough hot water to fill the tub for a soak. Other than that the house was wonderful and we will likely return.
