Beautiful, close to north side base

4 of 5
The chalet itself is beautiful and very well kept. We had 7 people including 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. This is what a ski chalet should be. The place was very clean and well kept when we arrived. The main living area (kitchen, dining, living room) is larger than it appears in pictures. There is an additional living room area that is large in the basement as well (it's walk-out so lots of great light and big windows there). The chalet is back from the road enough that we did not hear any sound from traffic. It's not a busy road in any event. It snowed the second night there and there was someone plowing the driveway early morning. We did not hear him either, just happened to look out and see him. The lot itself is beautiful with many trees...just a great setting. We had a fire every night after skiing and enjoyed the hot tub most days. The kitchen is well equipped and there is also a nice BBQ on the covered porch. This place would be a great spot for either winter or summer. The only negative is that it's very noisy (small spaces between walls and floor) between the main floor and upstairs levels (and between upstairs bedrooms) , so not a lot of privacy in that respect. Not sure if that is a normal thing in a log home? If you want somewhere quieter to hang out or for a bedroom, head to the basement level as it's more like a normal house from a sound level there. Overall we loved it and would stay there again.

T!he Marston Chalet was amazing

5 of 5
The chalet is a beautiful, comfortable, open concept structure with a view of the peak of Mt. Tremblant and private views of nature all around through the maximum windows. Parking is very convenient right at the front door. It is spacious, clean, classy, and artfully eclectic. There is a large balcony off the sunroom, a patio with hot tub and barbeque below and a path meandering down to the dock on the lake. The bedrooms are either up or down a level and well stocked with linen and towels. There is a home theater on the lower level and a games room, sauna and shower below. The well appointed and well stocked kitchen opens into a dining area that seats twelve. The place is immaculately cleaned an maintained. The owner is always just a phone call away. My husband and I along with friends and family have stayed at this chalet in summer, fall, and winter. It is close to shopping, restaurants, golf, and hiking. Morning coffee on the dock is a must! This winter we skied and spent our evenings in the hot tub and around the dining table and fireplaces.

Wonderful stay at this charming lake cottage

5 of 5
We so enjoyed our stay at this charming lake cottage. It was very true to its description, very clean and perfect for our family of four. Even in the dead of winter the high-efficiency fireplace kept us cozy and warm during our stay. We enjoyed skiing Mt. Orford and ice skating on the promenade surrounding the lake. We dined on breakfast crepes at Le Quay, delicious pasta at Chez Benito and listening to live music next door at the Pub du Pont. We loved the location nestled in the trees and private surroundings. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend this cottage for a getaway during any season.
