The owners were easy to deal with, their father-in-law just lives 2 cottages down and was able to help with minor issues and the pictures were accurate.
The property overlooks the St. Lawrence seaway and we enjoyed watching the freighters and the sailboats. Access to the beach/river was just down the hill. We walked along the river daily. There was outdoor furniture and a small fire pit. Firewood was supplied.
The inside was comfortable, clean, cozy and well cared for. There were plenty of dishes and towels. We were a family of three - there was a double bed, a futon bed and they made up an air mattress for my youngest. There were almost no items from the owner so we had lots of room for our stuff! The days were hot but the cottage cooled off easily at night with the help of the fans. The Wifi worked well, the grocery store was close, and access to Old Quebec was relatively easy - it was about a 20 - 30 minute drive depending on the traffic. The owners left some information regarding the area which was helpful. On the south side we visited Levi and the falls. On the north side we visited Old Quebec and Montmorency Falls. It was great to come "home" to our cottage overlooking the river after a day of touring.
I would stay in the cottage again and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
