WONDERFUL APT FOR 4 ADULTS

5 of 5
I'm afraid to give this place a good review because then everyone will find out about it, and I'll never be able to rent it again! My party of 4 (2 parents, two adult "kids") stayed here for 3 nights, and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels/washcloths, as well as paper products (so many places don't provide tissues or paper towels!), plenty of seating areas. The only "cons" are small: not many English-speaking TV channels; only one towel rack in the bathroom (could be one by the mirror/sink for hand towels); would like a mirror in the smaller bedroom; and it's up 3 flights of stairs, but they are easy to walk up. Location is PERFECT, very close to shops and restaurants and Chateau Frontenac (we decided to walk from the train station, not knowing it was almost all up-hill (dragging our <40 lb suitcases), won't do that again). It was a little noisy because it's close to a busy street; one morning we were awoken by construction noises at 6 am, which was annoying, but that's not the apartment's fault. Would stay here again!

BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT DEAL :)

5 of 5
It is so nice to have had this little sanctuary in Quebec City! It is a 15 minute walk to Old City, passing a great little brewery, LaBarberie, wonderful Pizzeria - Mille ete une Pizza is nearby as well. This condo is extremely clean - so important - and decorated nicely. It is even nicer than the photos. The bed is very, very comfortable and the price is perfect for such a place. The parking place (interior garage) is a wonderful bonus as well. Secured keyed building as well with a pretty courtyard and a wonderful rooftop terrace for evening cocktails. Thank you so much, Isabelle for your hospitality!

WONDERFUL APARTMENT

5 of 5
I must admit I was a little uneasy renting an apartment where there was not a review. I contacted HomeAway and also Flatbook. Both were responsive to my questions. I was not disappointed and would rent a Flatbook listing in the future and would use HomeAway again. Flatbook responded to our requests for 3 fans, suggestions for family friendly restaurants, etc. the apartment was as represented on the listing. It was a jewel located on the top floor of an old apartment building. The apartment had its own balcony on the front with a hammock for leisurely reading or resting. There was also a small table on the front balcony. The back porch has a small table and two chairs...a perfect place for morning coffee. The apartment is about a 30-45 minute leisurely walk to old Quebec. There is also s bus stop near by. The apartment has a parking space at the back. The only down side was the weather on our visit was hotter than expected. The three fans really helped and we were able to get good cross ventilation between the windows and doors. It would have been nice to have a screen on all windows but most had screens so that was not a major problem. With a nice grocery and Ice cream shop only a block away and restaurants not to far away we had everything we needed. We felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood. I would not hesitate to rent this apartment again.
