Great Location to stay in, close to Metro.

4 of 5
Thanks for sharing your lovely condo. It is so easy to get around the City from there. We traveled all over by Metro or walking. There are only a few things that I think could be improved on. Better lighting by the sofa and bed to read by for two people, TV changed out so we can actually turn it on easily each time. I know the screen is still good, but it functions poorly. Thank you though for the DVD's. Oh and a clear coffee carafe that you can tell how much water you are adding, had to guess. And maybe a list of what restaurants are near by that you would recommend etc. The new food market is really good as well as the other shops down Rue Catherine. We recommend visiting the Botanical Garden. Spent 5 hours and still didn't see it all. One of the best we've been too. Went to a great restaurant in Atwater called Henry and walked up to Mount Royal, beautiful views. Again great place to stay for visiting Montreal. Thank you David.

Charming, welcoming and relaxing

5 of 5
The studio apartment was perfect for us. It was located within a short walk to both Old Montreal and the "big" city. The owner was delightful and helpful and couldn't have been more considerate. We ate at two restaurants close by, La Tratattorie and Grinders and both served delicious food. This is our 3rd trip to Montreal and staying in a suite is definitely the way to go.

Well Done in Westmount

4 of 5
My wife and I and our two adult children spent four nights in Virginia's apartment and found it to be quite satisfactory - three bedrooms accommodated us with no problems at all. We're from Dallas, and the area around the apartment in Westmount was very unique to us, and very charming. There is plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well supplied. Based on Virginia's recommendation, we ate at Brasserie Central (good for dinner, looks like they have a great Happy Hour) and picked up baked goods and coffee at La Patisserie Gascogne, both a short walk from the apartment and very good. And there is a grocery store and other interesting shops in the neighborhood for all your needs. Prior to the trip, Virginia was very helpful and timely in answering travel questions. We'd stay again. We didn't have a car during our stay, relying on public transportation to get around Montreal, our first time in the city - we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment is a block or two from both the bus and metro, with buses running every 10 minutes on weekdays up and down Sherbrooke, a main thoroughfare into town. If you are relying on public transportation, check out multi-day passes (we didn't find out about them until the last day) - daily gets pricey for four people.
