Great Location and Lodging

5 of 5
An upscale lakeside home located next to the cute "French" town of St Jovite and about 15 minutes from Mont Tremblant (#1 Eastern North America ski resort). Fully outfitted with everything needed to include towels and linens. Has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms - all very modern. Within walking distance of an excellent lakeside Italian restaurant. With two bedrooms and bath on the third floor and a bedroom and bath on the first floor, two couples have excellent privacy since the modern kitchen and living room are on the second floor. Wi-Fi service was excellent. An extensive DVD library is available on big screen TVs on two floors. No Sat/cable TV but internet TV on delayed basis is adequate. Multiple restaurants in the area, swimming and paddling or skiing in season, national park only a short drive away, casino, etc. and hunting/fishing in nearby ZECs. We are very familiar with the area and various lodging options - would select this rental again in the future. Owner - Paul La Blanc - is excellent; readily available, bilingual, and service oriented. Had a great time in September - plan to return in the fall or winter in the future.

Perfect for Ironman Triathlons

5 of 5
My family and I stayed here for the full Ironman race in 2014. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to the transition area. The unit is a 2 minute walk from Rue de Saint-Jovite which is on the bike course. This part is the "downtown" area and is a great place to cheer. It's also VERY easy to get from the swim start to the bike and back to the run course as there is a free public transportation shuttle stop literally around the corner. The property is exactly as described and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were able to cook and grill very easily. The owner was very responsive to a few questions that I had during my stay. I highly recommend this property to athletes visiting for any of the triathlons. When I did the half ironman I stayed in the pedestrian village and found it to be loud (there was LOUD music playing until 9:15pm the night before the race) and busy. I truly enjoyed the relaxed area that this property is in. It's also an excellent value!

Lovely cabin

4 of 5
This is a lovely little cabin on the banks of the river. The rooms were clean; the kitchen was comfortable; the bathroom small but very neat; the location was lovely- within a few steps of the river (du Diable) which provides lulling water sounds if you open the windows.
