Beautiful Vieques

4 of 5
Casa Panorama worked out quite well for us (two couples). We found the house to be well stocked with all necessities. We did have to pick up charcoal starter for the grill (grill is small but was ok). One of the best parts about the house is the front porch - we spent most of our time there! House was clean and comfortable. We were at first disappointed that the location/neighborhood was not published but it worked out great anyway. It is quiet and peaceful - but that is why we come to Vieques. Some definite pluses were the washing machine, cooling breezes coming up the hillside, coolers/umbrellas/extra towels, outside hose, hammock, the view.

Perfect Rustic and Romantic Honeymoon Spot

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this place! Everything about it was perfect. Fairly secluded location-- there are neighbors but it definitely feels private. All the amenities of home are here, the window AC works great to cool you off. Its fairly small but more than enough space for a couple, we would love to go back with friends. The yard and pool area were so lovely. We loved lounging in the hammock. We would have our coffee and breakfast on the patio overlooking the beach in the mornings. On a clear days you can see Culebra in the distance, and you can see the lights at night. We loved having the pool and direct beach access. The beach out front is a little rocky, but we did do a little bit of snorkeling, we loved walking and collecting shells and sea glass. The property manager was excellent, he rented us a vehicle for a very reasonable price and also picked us up at the ferry and gave us a tour around town to get our bearings. The owners were very accommodating. They replied to all my emails very quickly and even allowed us to stay one night less than the required time because it was our honeymoon. There were welcome gifts waiting on us when we arrived! It was exactly what we wanted on our honeymoon in Vieques. It's not brand new but has rustic charm. We loved cooking for ourselves in the kitchen, grilling and having drinks by the pool. Overall this was an amazing gem of a spot and an excellent value. I WISH I WAS THERE RIGHT NOW!

Relaxing Vieques holiday

4 of 5
Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our time at Casa Perlita. I was surprised, though, at check-in to learn that we only had access to two of the bedrooms, as one of the reasons we selected that cottage was because it was advertised as a three bedroom. The bedroom with the largest bed was locked. My husband, 1-year-old, and I shared a full size bed much to our disappointment. Had we had the queen size bed, our comfort level would have risen exponentially. Another area of concern was the taped up screens on the front door. Though we kept the doors locked at all times, the holes taped up in the screen were disconcerting. Finally, the bedrooms are air conditioned but the living/cooking area is not. It can get pretty steamy in the living area as a result. On the positive side, we loved the location, close proximity to Isabel Segunda and Playa Bastimento were a real treat! Barb was also wonderful to work with. She is an efficient communicator and helped us secure furniture and stroller for our baby. We loved our time on Vieques!
