An Amazing Vacation! The Perfect House! Thanks

5 of 5
We escaped the cold Maine winter and headed to Vieques with our three boys ages 4, 2 and 1. I wish we could say more about the island itself but this house was so perfect for us that we pretty much spent the entire week just swimming in the pool out back, walking on beach out the door or just chilling out in what turned out to be a great space with all the amenities of home. We really can't say enough about it ... except that we are already making plans to come back next year. We can't wait. The owner's of the property we so responsive and helpful leading up to the trip and the folks they have helping out down on the island were top notch and so friendly. The house was clean, everything was in order, the yard was beautiful. We ate breakfast outside every morning and feel asleep to sound of the ocean every night. If the house was not already booked we were seriously thinking about staying an extra week. We did not want to leave. Thanks so much for a great vacation and we'll see you next year! - Louis & Meghan

Relaxing Vieques holiday

4 of 5
Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our time at Casa Perlita. I was surprised, though, at check-in to learn that we only had access to two of the bedrooms, as one of the reasons we selected that cottage was because it was advertised as a three bedroom. The bedroom with the largest bed was locked. My husband, 1-year-old, and I shared a full size bed much to our disappointment. Had we had the queen size bed, our comfort level would have risen exponentially. Another area of concern was the taped up screens on the front door. Though we kept the doors locked at all times, the holes taped up in the screen were disconcerting. Finally, the bedrooms are air conditioned but the living/cooking area is not. It can get pretty steamy in the living area as a result. On the positive side, we loved the location, close proximity to Isabel Segunda and Playa Bastimento were a real treat! Barb was also wonderful to work with. She is an efficient communicator and helped us secure furniture and stroller for our baby. We loved our time on Vieques!
