A Great Place to Stay!

4 of 5
A Great Place to Stay My husband, sister and I stayed here for 2 weeks for our vacation. The condo offered so many amenities that no hotel can offer. Daniel welcomed us when we arrived, showed us around the condo, and advised us on places to see and things to do. His talented, baker wife left a plate of gourmet cookies made with coconut and guava (local flavors) to welcome us. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen stocked with more than we needed for our minimal cooking. Daniel was responsive when we had questions – we used texting to communicate and he was immediate with his responses. One evening he took us to La Placida so we could wander around seeing how couples and families enjoy restaurants and mingling together in the evenings. In the area: we loved El Yunque and hiked down to the waterfall with the reward of soaking in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall with our clothes on, and nothing to change into. It was raining anyway and didn’t matter; it is a rainforest, after all. Four more highlights come to mind: an invitation and acceptance to visit for lunch at a ranch by locals, an adventure trip on an all terrain vehicle (great fun to drive, and all of us had the opportunity), a kayak trip to the bioluminescent bay and finally, the city of Old San Juan. The people of Puerto Rico are the best asset; they are friendly and warm and love to talk – just engage them in conversation (led to our dinner invitation) and learn a lot. Our final dinner was at the Oceano, a restaurant within walking distance on the water. The palms were illuminated by a blue light, we could hear and see the surf. The drinks and the food were unique and delicious. All was romantic and worthy of a foodie review. It wouldn’t take long to become a part of this wonderful community around the condo. We frequented the park nearby and regularly met up with people who do the same. We would give this condo a five star rating (which it deserves because of Daniel) if it were on the water. However, we would stay here again, because we can easily walk to the water and the condo was perfect! We highly recommend staying here. We loved our time here!

Perfect for couples and so close to everything!

5 of 5
We just returned from our 6 night stay in the 2-bedroom condo and we had such a great time!! This condo was absolutely perfect for a two-couple party with location, space, amenities, etc. There are large armoires in each room with hangers to unpack, there was a hair dryer available in the condo, beach towels, and having the washer and dryer was incredible. Upon arrival, Martin was extremely helpful in pointing out where the local market was and a couple of spots we should check out. The market was right around the corner which was perfect for grabbing essentials, along with a couple of gas stations that have most of what you would need. We ended up going to a larger market in Old San Juan, Supermax, so that we could grab more of what we needed to cook a few dinners at the condo. Which was another highlight to this great space: All utensils, pots, and pans are available to make a meal inside the condo! The absolute best part was how easy it was to walk in to the heart of Old San Juan. We did this most days at least once, sometimes twice, because it was such a nice walk. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes and you get to go by the Capital building and walk along with a gorgeous view of the water. If you don't like walking, the bus line goes right by the corner of the street and is only $.75, which was great for us to go to other parts of Puerto Rico. And then cab rides ended up being around $10 for our group of 4 to go in to Old San Juan. The added levels of security were extremely comforting, also. There was a gated entrance before the front door entrance which made us feel safe, along with, the entrances not being off a main road. Oh, and the local restaurant next door, El Hamburguer, was great too. We grabbed a quick bite and some Medalla several times and it was our favorite for a late night spot when coming in from town. I definitely recommend this condo, we would certainly go back!

great place to stay!

4 of 5
Property kept clean and comfortable. Very close to beach. Wood deck is great for bbqs. Rooms are spacious and kept cold with ac. Wished the master room bathroom was bigger and the closet smaller. Great dining table for family gatherings. The owner Alex was friendly and very attentive. Took care of all our needs. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!
