Perfect Family Vacation

5 of 5
We traveled to Puerto Rico in March with our three young children as well as my parents. Everything about the vacation and villa was perfect. The zero entry pool was warm and empty! My kids spent hours there with all the pool toys they have in the villa. The beach was beautiful as well. When you want a little more action- just walk down the beach to the hotel's pool that has a little waterside and lots of activity. We went surfing one morning with La Pared Surf Shop & School and both our 5 & 7 year old loved it and got up on the boards- very exciting. We had several days worth of meals prepared and brought to the villa by a local chef- it was so nice not to have to cook and it was extremely reasonable for the food we go. We also met the nicest people at the villa- everything was wonderful- can't wait to go back!

Great villa, great location, great family vacation

5 of 5
I highly recommend this villa. We stayed for 10 days over Easter. This was our second trip to Puerto Rico and to Rio Mar. The first time we stayed in the Ocean 16 building. Very nice but Elliot and Rodrigo's Villa was so much bigger and felt more like home. The second floor terrace was one of the biggest reasons we chose this villa. Our 1 year old naps and I wanted an outdoor space to be in the sun. The terrace was perfect! I was up there usually from noon-2:30 and had sun the whole time. If you wanted to sit out but have shade the first floor terrace would be great. Something for everyone! They were so great to work with. From the very the first email I sent inquiring about the property thru checkout they were helpful and responsive. They answered all of our questions and provided helpful information about restaurants and activities in the area. We asked if they offered a VIP card to the Wyndam resort. They checked into it, joined and we got cards allowing us access to the resorts pool and some amenities. The resort did change some of their policies during the time we were planning our trip. Without us even asking they apologized and gave us a break on our stay. It was out of their control but they took care of us anyway. How great is that?! Their property manager Lydia was responsive and helpful as well. The Villa is in cluster 2. Each cluster has it's own pool and this one is very nice. We also had access to the beach club pool, also nice and a lot of fun. One piece of advice, if you are traveling with other families make sure you stay in the same cluster. Especially if it's a busy time. They do get tight on security. There is also a golf cart that is available. Not absolutely necessary but very convenient for running back and forth to beach. Now...the lack of air conditioning...my husband loved it, the kids didn't notice and I was on the fence. Didn't miss it at all during the day, would have been kind of nice at night to sleep, but overall it was no big deal. Having all the windows and door open to the outdoors was so great. The villa is clean, has a well equipped kitchen, a gas grill, rain showers, comfortable beds and a great view. Can't think of any reason not to stay here again. Enjoy!

Had a wonderful time at this gorgeous property.

The property was clean, nicely decorated, provided nice sheets and plenty of towels. The location was beautiful, overlooking the ocean and pools. It is quiet and secluded but has hotel amenities nearby if wanted. Alex was very helpful answering our questions promptly. Enjoyed zip lining through the rainforest and and treks into Old San Juan.
