Great Vacation!

5 of 5
We recently stayed at this property with our large family! The caretakers were there to greet us and show us the home and how everything worked. They also provided us with information regarding the Wyndham Beach Resort and drove us through the entire resort area showing us all of the amenities. They provided us with information about local grocery stores, restaurants and recommended a chef who came to the house and prepared 4 dinners for us! He was fantastic! The Wyndham had a beach area for homeowners with a pool and grill cafe which we all enjoyed one day. We also went to a restaurant and the casino in the main resort! The home was very comfortable and had great spaces for us to enjoy together! We spent many hours in the pool, large hot tub, fitness room, theater and our favorite spot was the "outdoor family room". We were also provided with toys for our grandchildren, high chairs and cribs which were waiting for us on our arrival! There are many attractions nearby that we took advantage of. El Yunque National Park is just 5 minutes away. We went hiking there twice and climbed up the tower and went to the waterfall. San Juan was a short drive and we toured the forts and city there. We took the ferry to Vieques (just 20 min from the house) and stayed overnight on the island which was beautiful! We also went to one of the bioluminescent bays! There is plenty to do in the area and the weather was perfect everyday we were there! We highly recommend this property!

Fabulous villa.

5 of 5
My family of six have visited many vacation destinations over the past 26 years and usually rent a condo and I can unequivocally say that Sandra's villa was easily one of the top 2. This was our 3rd visit to Puerto Rico and each time it's been better. Regarding the villa, the listing description was accurate in every detail except the pictures don't accurately depict the size of the rooms. They are actually more spacious in person which was a pleasant surprise. The property was clean and well maintained and the beds and living room furniture were quite comfortable which is important to us. I was concerned about the first floor location but it was actually elevated a few feet off the ground which made it fine. My favorite part was the picturesque oceanfront views and listening to the waves while relaxing on one of the two balconies. The two pools on site were kept sparkling clean and were never crowded so we didn't have to fight for the chairs or umbrellas. We also had access to the fitness center, spa, pools and Tiki Bar at the resort next door which we utilized on numerous occasions. Sandra, the owner, was in constant communication with me which was much appreciated. Her suggestions of where to buy groceries and where to eat were extremely helpful especially Richies with unbeatable views and righteous mufongo. The location worked well for us because it was 5 minutes away from the Rainforest, a must see, and only about 25 minutes from Old San Juan. You will need to rent a car.(Save well over $100 by renting from an Isla Verde car rental site one exit away from the airport and not from the airport site itself). I look forward to going back in the near future and highly recommend this villa.

Most relaxing vacation ever!

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico! The villa was perfect in every way. The pictures we had seen online were great, but when we arrived it was even better than we could have wished for. The open air living space and the bedrooms had such lovely views over the golf course and pool. We could sit and watch the ocean in the distance. All of the appliances and amenities were clean and modern. We had all of the cooking pans and utensils we could ever need in the kitchen. The villa owners were very thoughtful and left us fruit, coffee and some chilled wine to welcome us. The beds were all so comfortable, we loved sleeping late and waking to the incredible view. We only had a 5 min. drive to the shore inside the community. The beach was gorgeous - blue skies and water as far as we could see. The ocean breezes continuously cooled us off, even in 90 degree weather. The owners and their representative were available for anything we needed...offering us great info on nature hikes and restaurants galore. We had no problems or maintenance issues with the property. The villa is also a short drive to the El Yunque National (rain) Forest and several challenging golf courses. We ate at numerous restaurants on the island; all very good. Don Pepe, a neighborhood favorite, had great food and music too. We felt very safe and right at home in the hilly gated community. Our visits to Old San Juan gave us ample shopping opportunities and immersed us in the beautiful culture and history of the island. If we come back we would stay right here in this villa again!
