Thank you Maritza for making it a great stay! and for coming to get us the first nite. Yes! We got lost. But, Maritza got us to the condo, safely. She provided us with her contact numbers and brochures for various activities. The condo was also, very secure. And, it was very clean, and we had plenty of towels for the stay. It had all utensils, frig, microwave, toaster oven, stove. And, the beautiful view from the balcony/patio, was gorgeous, and the sound of the ocean was breathtaking. It was nice just being out on the patio. I will say that the owners should fix the door to the patio/balcony though, it did not work, and we had to prop a chair in front of the door to keep it shut. Especially, when we had a storm on NY's eve nite. Also, you should have some kind of universal remote to make watching TV a little easier. Switching between the 2 remotes wasn't the easiest way to watch TV. But, having the TV, Wifi and cable was a nice feature and amenity.
But, being close to the kiosks was great, we could walk from the condo to the Luquillo food stands and enjoy all kinds of cuisine. Awesome! We also did quite a bit of site-seeing..................went to the El Yunque Forest, Old San Juan(Ft. Morro and San Cristobal). Also, we swam and tried boogie boarding in the ocean, (Luquillo Beach)(Seven Seas Beach) and it was great. We did a little snorkeling behind Luquillo food stands at that beach. I think the snorkeling would have been better if we would have taken a tour. But this time of year the ocean isn't very calm. Still swimming in the ocean in Dec/Jan is priceless, and being out in the sun is awesome. The weather was in the mid 80's during the day and at nite in the low 70's. You can't get better than that. If it rained it didn't last long during the day. I would like to come back and explore the neighboring islands Culebra and Vieques, too. There is so much to see here, and this condo is conveniently located. You are far enough away from the big city of San Juan, so you have peace and quiet. Also, you are close to the Luquillo kiosks and beach access. Even though we were by the beach, we couldn't use the beach out in front of the condo. The water's were too rough and high, no beach, but that is the time of year, so remember that if you want to come to PRico. All in all a relaxing trip.
