Exceptional Villa Stay!

5 of 5
We were met at the airport by Michelle and followed her out to the Club--she waited to be sure we had a seamless check-in, which we did. She also checked in towards the middle of our stay to be sure we were enjoying our time at Club Melia and the surrounding area. It was great to have a local contact for local references to area stores and places to visit. The property was clean and the villa stocked with everything we needed for the week. The beds were super comfortable and the view from our patio out to the pool was good with views of the ocean beyond the pool area. (We had a room on the third floor and would highly recommend this for a great view.) There was a nicely paved walking path outside of the villas that took you past the golf course in addition to two pretty well-equipped gyms on the grounds for working out inside. The staff at the VIP lounge were very patient as at times it could get pretty busy--they serve up free beverages in the VIP lounge so the wait wasn't bad. If we needed anything, we always got there early in the morning to avoid waiting. The guys in our group did an inshore fishing excursion through 787Fishing and brought the cleaned fish home for us to enjoy a meal which we were able to make in our villa. We also booked a snorkeling excursion through Tim Wallin, PR Vacation Helpers, and stopped to visit Flamenco Beach--very nice beach! The catamaran had about 50 people on it, but for some reason did not seem too overly crowded. No Regrets--well, other than the lack of WI Badger fans during the NCAA championship game!

It was a utopian experience!

5 of 5
We were blown away by Casa del Campo. I could've sat on the porch for hours listening to the birds and watching the sun set. The lush jungle vegetation was beautiful to gaze over. Walking through the trails I felt like I was transported into a garden of Eden. The campus was well managed and all the tenants respectable and quiet. We had no problems during our stay. We enjoyed hiking to the top of the mountain and seeing the ocean--what a view! The lodging itself was clean and neat. We were able to cook all our meals easily with all the utensils provided. Before we left we enjoyed having the host's son Mario over for dinner and sharing in conversation. This property is beautiful beyond description and I can't wait to return again! Thank you Cristina!

Good times in Paradise!

4 of 5
This is a great place to stay! I traveled with my husband and 5-year-old daughter. The condo was very clean and nice and had everything we needed. My daughter loved the kids room with the lava lamp. We enjoyed the 2 patios and the very close proximity to the beach! It was great sitting outside, enjoying the great weather, and listening to the waves. The condo complex was mostly empty during our stay so we felt like we pretty much had the place to ourselves with a virtually private beach. The beach is beautiful and is about 2 ft deep for several yards out, and its protected by a reef, which makes it perfect for little ones to swim. Security was ever present and we felt very safe at the condo. The location is fantastic! There are lots of great restaurants right by the complex, and El Yunque, the Kiosks and Luquillo beach are a very short drive away. Amigos Grocery is also a short drive. We went over to the Wyndham for a few meals, but were glad we stayed at a condo instead and had the freedom to cook some meals and had more space and privacy, not to mention a much better beach! Milton was nice to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this unit! Again, location can't be beat if you plan to hike in El Yunque - which you definitely should!!!
