Clean, comfortable and an amazing view

4 of 5
Stayed there at the end of Dec 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Very quite, away from tourist traps, nothing like falling asleep with the sound of crashing waves, yes, the view is just like in the photos! The bedrooms, beds and bathroom are very comfortable, there is no full side kitchen, just a kitchenette in the master bedroom but it was enough for us, the house do have a full size refrigerator and washing machine. The water heater in the bathroom could use an upgrade as water wasnt very hot like I like it. I will be staying there again in the future. We walked in the evenings to a couple local restaurants down the street for appetaizers and cocktails...

Dream Vacation

5 of 5
Perlas del Mar was a dream vacation. The house is located on top of a cliff overlooking a remarkable oceanic view. The sun rises where the island meets the sea in the East and sets the same in the West. The humidity of the rainy season was barely noticeable because of the cool Westerly breeze that comes off the ocean (keeps bugs away too). It would be difficult to think of an accommodation or amenity not already provided by the house. In addition, the owner and his family go out of their way to make sure guests maximize the vacation experience. The only thing our group did not enjoy was leaving… But I have a strong feeling we will be back! -Donny

Surreal Beauty

5 of 5
I've been to Aligarden 3 times now and I am headed there again next month. This is the most breathtaking place I have even been and the photos do not even come close to doing it justice. The owner of the property has done all of the landscaping and gardening and the intense love she has for the property is evident in her work! It's easy to forget that a world exists outside of the property which makes it perfect for a truly relaxing vacation. The locals are amazing people with great stories. And the food is delicious!! The two restaurants located on the same street as the house make delicious local specialties that will have you craving rice and beans for breakfast! There is a supermarket as well other shops within a 15 minute drive and other great swimming beaches as well as the caves (which i recommend) are about 30-40 minutes away.
