Picture Perfect Paradise

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at this tropical home. Pictures can not describe how you feel when you get there and do not do it justice. The house is quaint, with everything we needed fully furnished with beautiful living room and bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had everything I needed to do home cooked meals. Cooking was a pleasure whether in the kitchen or downstairs in the outdoor living area at the bbq because both spots were perfect to watch the sunset over the ocean. The beach was beautiful there is nothing like having the Caribbean sea to explore and swim and snorkel just step away from the house and the pool with a martini in hand at night was a vacation dream come true. The cost was so affordable for a private home with private pool on such an enormous lush green property. We paid what we would have paid at a 1 star hotel room per night for this unbelievable home. Honestly I thought it was to good to be true and was very worried about doing this kind of home rental for the first time. I will tell you this will be how we vacation from this point on. Sherry made the booking a breeze and Irene was there for us whenever we needed directions or advise on where to eat out. Great place! I would highly recommend this property to anyone! And look forward to returning as I miss it already. Mary Woods and Family

Beautiful and comfortable

5 of 5
We had a wonderful family vacation in Patillas, PR. The kids loved the pool and the car port area. The backyard is private and gated. Irene (the property manager) was great and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is clean, safe, and cozy. The kitchen is well-stocked and had everything needed to cook. (We even baked Christmas cookies.) We cooked out on the grill several times too. The master bedroom is huge with a gigantic walk-in closet; great for stowing luggage. There is Wi-Fi, which our 4 teenagers claim that can't live without, so that was handy. The kids walked to the bakery each morning for homemade donuts and we drank way too many Frappes from the local Frappe bar. We found tons of shells and sea glass at the little beach a short walk from the house. The house has a really helpful notebook with restaurant recommendations, phone numbers, and places of interest; which we used daily. The house is on a busy road, but there is a shoulder & sidewalk area for walking. The house is exactly as described. Patillas is a lovely little town that is friendly and unique. We are sad to be home in the cold and snow, but we have great memories of our time at Casa Caribe Del Rey.

Fantastic Spring Break Destination !

5 of 5
Absolutely amazing stay in the 'Paraiso Escondido' made us ecstatic We had a group of 15 French studying in New York and were looking for a Spring Break destination. Puerto Rico belongs to the US so no travel visa issues, the dollar is the currency and excellent phone service. We stayed over in Patillas for 10 days. The house is located in front of the sea, has a pool and a hot tub, easily fits 18+ people and allows for a great party scene! Blasting music during the pool parties! Amenities are in good standing and Kevin, the manager, is extremely dedicated. You can also cook in one of the 3 kitchens. 40 min drive to Ponce airport / 1 hr drive from San Juan. Basically the whole island can be travelled in a few hours. The house manager also own the gigantic bar down the street that attracts fantastic crowds on weekends. Beer is so cheap from 1 to 2 dollars! There is also a beach set up with small bars and salsa on weekends. I would definitely recommend staying there for students & young professionals looking for an exotic escape in the Caribbeans! Less touristy and americanized than San Juan, you will completely disconnect from the City life and make great friends here. All the best for the future!
