Fantastic Spring Break Destination !

5 of 5
Absolutely amazing stay in the 'Paraiso Escondido' made us ecstatic We had a group of 15 French studying in New York and were looking for a Spring Break destination. Puerto Rico belongs to the US so no travel visa issues, the dollar is the currency and excellent phone service. We stayed over in Patillas for 10 days. The house is located in front of the sea, has a pool and a hot tub, easily fits 18+ people and allows for a great party scene! Blasting music during the pool parties! Amenities are in good standing and Kevin, the manager, is extremely dedicated. You can also cook in one of the 3 kitchens. 40 min drive to Ponce airport / 1 hr drive from San Juan. Basically the whole island can be travelled in a few hours. The house manager also own the gigantic bar down the street that attracts fantastic crowds on weekends. Beer is so cheap from 1 to 2 dollars! There is also a beach set up with small bars and salsa on weekends. I would definitely recommend staying there for students & young professionals looking for an exotic escape in the Caribbeans! Less touristy and americanized than San Juan, you will completely disconnect from the City life and make great friends here. All the best for the future!

IMPRESSIVE!

Hello Sherry and Irene! It's been about 11 days since we have been back from vacation in P.R. I kept telling myself to not let too much time pass by before writing a review about our first time experience with the VRBO site and most of all our fabulous stay in the Casa Caribe Del Rey home. This home is so pretty, spacious and clean, we were very proud to welcome family over several times during our 12 day stay. Everything we needed for a family BBQ was available, the pool water was clean and very warm by afternoon. Irene was always available, whether to ask for her personal opinion of a nearby restaurant or fixing a cable issue we had at one time, which she quickly addressed and resolved the problem. I had my doubts in making reservations thru VRBO, but Sherry is very up front and truthful as well as professional in providing general or detailed information about the whole reservation process. Sherry is patient and easy to talk with, I called her about three times with many questions before committing to a reservation. I wish there was a way to upload a video that I recorded while drinking my coffee on the front porch one morning, that showed my view of the ocean waves rolling in and a group of bicyclist passing by on the street. I may post it on the Casa Caribe Del Rey Facebook page if allowed. We felt very comfortable and safe in this home that we extended our reservation for another five more days, until the end of our stay on the island. Sherry and Irene, thank you so much for your patience and the awesome hospitality!! Hope to return in the near future, until next time...(((HUGS)))!!!

Perfect for families with disabled children

5 of 5
The property looked just like it did on the website and the staff were very helpful. They even offered to go shopping for any supplies I may need so I can cook in the trailer if I didn't want to eat a restaurant. My son is autistic, and he loves the sea. The staff gave him helpful information regarding the sea and the animals on the island. The deadbolt inside that only opened with a key, insured that my son would be safe as we slept. When we wanted to just stay at the trailer and relax, the onsite restaurant served delicious food and drinks. We will definitely come again. It was a dream vacation for my family.
