Wonderful apt with amenities, highly recommended

5 of 5
The apartment was as listed. Very clean with beach chairs and umbrella, Good kitchen supplies. Excellent ceiling fans in all rooms. No need to use air conditioner. Conveniently located with car to stores, kiosks and El Yunque and not far to Fajardo. Nice swimming pool. Lovely tenants and owners in building. The owner of this apt is very available to help out with any ordinary questions and also with any emergencies.

Truly a Paradise

5 of 5
Pictures do not do justice. The view was spectacular, we often fell asleep in the balcony with the ocean's breeze. The condo was very clean with everything we needed and more, including a delicious goody basket. It was my husband and our son's first time vacationing in PR, and not only are they in love, but do not want to stay anywhere other than Maritza's condo. Though the property is gated, the surroundings felt very safe. We felt comfortable walking across the street to the grocery store for bread, butter, eggs, Coke, and Bacardi. It's near the El Yunque rain forest (15min drive at most), where you can hike, zip-line, and do more adventurous activities. Also near to some wonderful food kiosks, more beautiful beaches. The 40-45 min drive to San Juan was a "non-issue" for us...we enjoyed the driving and stopping along the way to shop and eat. Now...this Condo is not the only Gem, the owner Maritza is beyond words. We took the red-eye to PR. We went to delicious a local coffee shop called Aromas. She knew at the time our flight was arriving, we rented the condo from the day prior to be able to check-in early and sleep a little before going into town. She called my cell very early that morning to see if we were close by. She met us as Aromas and took us to the Condo. She was concern with our lack of sleep and wanted to make sure we rested. However, there was an instant connection between her and our family...as tired as we were we could not stop talking. She knew exactly what we wanted out of this vacation and her suggestions were right on the money. She called us in the middle of our vacation to see if we needed anything. I must say, I made a slight error with our travel upon leaving the condo...Maritza went above and beyond to help us out. Something she did not have to do and was not expected...she just has a heart of gold. In the end, we felt like we were leaving a family member behind...one who we are looking forward to seeing again. As far as the condo is concern...HIGHLY recommended...I wish I could post pictures. Maritza...I apologize for not posting a review sooner. Once we returned to NYC, we all got lost in the daily NYC rushing lifestyle. We often think of you and your Paradise in Luquillo.

Beach and view from balcony AMAZING!!!

4 of 5
The view is amazing! The beach was near private so couples have the pleasure of enjoying the view alone. We had 2-3 people an hour walk by. The apartment it self is well supplied. Everything you could need at your finger tips. Snorkeling gear, beach towels, coolers and most importantly coffee and supplies on hand. We ate the near by Kioskos the variety was wide and the food was fabulous. The locals were kind and did not mind working with my bad spanish. Elise was easy to work with and allowed us to make payments for our stay. The furnishings are basic but comfortable, air mattress and 2 futons for larger families were in the room. We went to the rain forest El Yuque and did the hike to La Mina falls. Seven Seas beach is in nearby Fajardo well worth the stop. We used the gear in the apartment and snorkeled at the point near the condo. Most attractions are closed on Monday and Tuesday so plan accordingly. The condo is older and could use a remodel but for what we paid this was an amazing launching point to see the island. If your a neat freak their are plenty of cleaning supplies on hand to tight up.
