My family of 3 stayed here 4 nights. Our first night, Tropical Storm Gonsalvo arrived at the island. That was a bit scary, but we had no problems.
The casita itself is beautiful, comfortable and we loved the location! Waking up to the gorgeous view every day was incredible. The beach outside was just what we needed, relaxing without a lot of heavy surf. Walking further East up the beach, you'll have more waves for boogey boarding or body surfing. Even further East are the bigger waves and the surfers.
We chose the East side of the island since we had El Yunque and Laguna Grande bio bay on our To Do list, however driving into Old San Juan was about a 30 minute drive, depending on traffic.
At the end of our stay, we really hated to leave. We are already planning what to do our next trip to Puerto Rico. We got lots of suggestions of additional places to go and experience. Everyone was mostly friendly and helpful, including Rosa. This casita is definitely on our list of places to stay when we return!
