Perfect Vacation Week

5 of 5
My group of 8 adults elected to stay at Carlos's vacation home in Luquillo. The house itself was absolutely excellent. We stayed for a week, and all the amenities listed. Spices and cooking utensils were completely stocked, so eating was a breeze (a grocery store was nearby in Luquillo). We were able to visit El Conquistador in Fajardo, went Deep Sea Fishing in San Juan, kayaked in the Bio-luminescent Bay in Fajardo, hiked in El Yunque Rainforest, and the complementary snorkeling trip was quite the bonus! One day it rained, and we ended up staying at the house all day and enjoying our property. If you're trying to visit Puerto Rico for a vacation, I would highly recommend this property. Its central location to Fajardo, San Juan, and the rainforest made the trip a breeze to plan. Also, I would highly recommend going to eat at La Parilla at some point during your stay. Thanks for everything, Carlos!

Best retrieve place in the island!!!!

5 of 5
I started my review and the computer collapsed!!! If already submitted, my apologies..... Again: I live in Puerto Rico and I'm used to local tourism. However, this is by far the best property to enjoy the Island, It has a very unique feeling of a countryside property, with almost immediate access to the best beaches in Puerto Rico. The property itself gives you a firsthand taste of our tropical atmosphere. Great views of our topography, being in the middle of El Yunque Forrest but right across to Luquillo Beach. It is located near enough of San Juan, but far enough to feel like you are away of the city's atmosphere. The property is as clean and well maintained as you would expect in a 5 star hotel, with more amenities than you could possibly expect: 1. Great pool area 2. BBQ facility with access close to the kitchen area 3. Recreational outside areas with basketball court 4. Game room with table tennis, pool and dartboard facilities 5. Kitchen, family, and dining room area are very comfortable, probably one of the best features of the property - great to entertain, great to enjoy and relax. Again, It excelled our expectations. We will come back...

Beautiful, tranquil, and quiet

5 of 5
First i must start with the owner Myrtle-Rose, what an amazing home you have and thank you again for sharing this beautiful home with us. When arriving the maintenance man Carlos and his wife were there to greet us with beautiful smiles...He escorted us around the house to make sure we new where everything was. We had a group of 8 so everyone was comfortable. The 3rd floor master bedroom is to die for, the decor is so breathtaking and the view from the patio is amazing especially when all you have to do is open your eyes and see the sunrise without getting out of bed. This is our second trip to Luquillo for my husband and I but the first ever for our family members and with every moment we were there they kept smilles on their faces, as soon as we got there I notices I was was alone in the house I look to the backyard and they are all swimming at the beach and yes your backyard is the beach. On arriving the masterbed room's AC did not work so we had to spend our first night in one of the rooms on the second floor but by 930am the next morning, Carlos had a friend that worked for TRANE and the AC was fixed for the rest of our trip. This home is a must if you are in Luquillo, so beautiful and quiet but also remember to feed the cats and a few homeless dogs on the your trip, there are so many of them, I hope our family helping them made a little difference for them and also the dishwasher did work for us (thank god) so yes that has been fixed.
