Great turn out, very relaxing!

4 of 5
My family enjoyed themselves very much. We loved the fresh eggs, and of course cooking our own meals daily( less expensive). The house alone is very relaxing. The only downside was the last day there was that the refrigerator was leaking with a very strong stench. I would love to come back again. I'm planning for next year very soon. Thank you Carlos for your allowing us to stay in your home. See you next year.

Beautiful, tranquil, and quiet

5 of 5
First i must start with the owner Myrtle-Rose, what an amazing home you have and thank you again for sharing this beautiful home with us. When arriving the maintenance man Carlos and his wife were there to greet us with beautiful smiles...He escorted us around the house to make sure we new where everything was. We had a group of 8 so everyone was comfortable. The 3rd floor master bedroom is to die for, the decor is so breathtaking and the view from the patio is amazing especially when all you have to do is open your eyes and see the sunrise without getting out of bed. This is our second trip to Luquillo for my husband and I but the first ever for our family members and with every moment we were there they kept smilles on their faces, as soon as we got there I notices I was was alone in the house I look to the backyard and they are all swimming at the beach and yes your backyard is the beach. On arriving the masterbed room's AC did not work so we had to spend our first night in one of the rooms on the second floor but by 930am the next morning, Carlos had a friend that worked for TRANE and the AC was fixed for the rest of our trip. This home is a must if you are in Luquillo, so beautiful and quiet but also remember to feed the cats and a few homeless dogs on the your trip, there are so many of them, I hope our family helping them made a little difference for them and also the dishwasher did work for us (thank god) so yes that has been fixed.

We are already planning to come back!

5 of 5
We just rented Hacienda Carabali and we loved it! At our arrival, we were welcomed with a vanilla flan waiting for us in the fridge. We were 2 families of 4 and never felt crowded in the house. It's a beautiful house, well maintained, clean and fully equiped, with speakers outside on the patio and close to the pool. The house is well decorated and cosy and we really had the feeling to be home. Kids had plenty of things to do: swim in the pool, play ping pong and pool downstairs, watch for lizards, frogs and iguanas around the house. There are coconut trees and a mango tree in the backyard! The deck is huge, you can sit and watch the trees, the El Yunke mountains and listen to the coquis at night. The owner left a binder full of info for the house and activities to do around. We found everything we needed in the house: foldable chairs to bring to the beach, beach toys, iceboxes, even a full cupboard of board games and boxes of kid toys. Luquillo seemed a safe place, people is really friendly. So that you know, the gate doesn't open right away when you enter the code (contrary to when you use the remote control). We understood someone had to "answer" and open it for us. And ask for the house key box code before arrival. It was our first time to PR and we loved it! We were sad to leave, 8 days were definitely not enough. We are already planning to go back next year. It seems to be the end of all inclusive vacations for us... Thank you very much Vilmari!
