Ideal spot to enjoy the best of Puerto Rico!

5 of 5
Our group had an amazing time in Puerto Rico, and a big part of it was this cozy and conveniently located apartment in Luquillo. Working with the owners was a breeze, and Richard was accommodating enough to meet us at our hotel in Old San Juan to give us everything we needed for our stay in Luquillo. The apartment was perfect for 4 adults. We loved the terrace and the balcony both. Having the gas grill was great since it expanded what we could cook at the apartment. Don't feel like cooking? Good news because you're in walking distance to the Luquillo kioskos. We ate and drank there often. The kioskos are right on the Luquillo public beach which is the nicest public beach I've ever been to (our whole group felt that way). The beach access from the building is fantastic, as it's quiet and secluded and has a few palm trees for shade (no need for umbrellas!). El Yunque is not only in view from the terrace here, but it's a quick 15 minute drive. Fajardo is only a little farther (~20-25 minutes) and is where you can go for the biobay tours or to grab a sailboat trip. The apartment is clean, and the kitchen was better equipped than other rentals I've had in the past. We ate in quite frequently. It's also nice that there's a grocery store right across the main street. As we went other places, we all kept saying that we loved our location and apartment best. The building is smaller, so it's easier to get in and out than some of the big high rises we saw. We had absolutely no problems, but it was nice knowing that the owners were a quick phone call away if we did. They also called us to make sure our visit went well at the end. Puerto Rico is an amazing vacation location, but I also think that choosing to stay in Luquillo, and at this apartment in particular, helped to make sure it was awesome.

Magnificent home

Lovely, clean and spacious home. Our family of 6 enjoyed every minute spend there, especially the pool and the patio area. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities needed to have a wonderful vacation. George and Frances were very kind and resourceful, all their recommendations were excellent (East Island excursions was great to Culebra for our snorkling adventure, plus we got a discount), La Parilla Kiosks #2 in Luquillo was fun and excellent food, El Yunque great for hiking and old San Juan was beautiful. Thank you for taking care of all our needs during our one week stay. Yes, we definitely recomend this beautiful and very safe property to anyone who wants to travel to Puerto Rico.
