Amazing location

5 of 5
This is probably the closest you can get to the ocean without actually being in a boat. We arrived in the middle of the night and Mark was kind enough to arrange transportation from the airport. The apartment was clean and spacious and we didn't miss not having a car. (If you decide not to rent a car, you should take advantage of Mark's offer to stock the apartment with food). The folks we met were amazing, not only was the entire transaction smooth and hassle-free, Mark sends out a detailed list of everything you could possibly need. A friend of his even leant me snorkeling gear. The housekeeper, Rosita, is charming. It was a real pleasure and a perfect vacation. The Villa Montana resort is next door and has amazing seafood and Medalla beer on draft. A small shack called 'La Parada de Los Surfers' is a half-kilometer walk and serves the best fried spicy chicken tacos. The ocean is warm even in winter. Love this place!

Excellent rental

5 of 5
Dale's rental was excellent in every way. Aside from the fact that Shacks is a great place to stay, Dale made sure we were taken care of throughout our vacation. His place is beautiful, comfortable and a few steps from a beautiful beach. No problems of any kind. Highly recommended.

UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL AND PEACFUL

5 of 5
You can find the true warmth of the Puerto Rican people here. Upon our arrival we truly felt like we were with family. This place is truly an oasis on the Island and pretty easy to find as it is just off the #2 road. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff was super helpful. The apartment we stayed in was incredible; much larger and more beautiful in person. The apartment had everything you needed for you stay and was very clean. The bathroom had a step down shower; it made it feel as though you were staying at a spa. The design of the entire villa shows that much thought was put into it. This place would be great to rent out in its entirety if you are doing a wedding or birthday, or pretty much any family or friends gathering. The pool was great and is even lit up at night; surrounded by palm trees it really felt like a dream. The hot tub was also a plus. If you prefer to just hang out there is also a pool table and volley ball courts on site or have a BBQ. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay; it was truly a great and relaxing experience. We have already recommended this place to my cousin who plans on having his wedding in Puerto Rico. Hasta la proxima.
